Ch 10

Cal ran up quickly snatching my phone out of my pocket and hugging me tighter than ever. "Cal calm down. Luke called so Im not going to cancel them... But Im not going back until when we'd originally planned for me to go." I said calmly reaching over and grabbing my phone back and catching the football at the same time. I couldnt help but giggle when they both looked at me with their jaws hanging. "what?? You act like I shouldnt be able to do that or something." I said with a huge smile continuing to throw the ball back and forth with Derek until Alex dived in the middle and I jumped over tackling him. We play wrestled for a bit until Zack walked over picking me up and walked away. "Zackyyy i was winning," i whined before snuggling into him. "Yes you were however one its time to take your meds and two ash is skyping with Rian in the back and wants to talk to you." He said calmly walking on the bus and plopping me in the couch next to Rian. "HEY ASHYYYY" i squealed loudly seeing his dimpled face on the screen. I was happy when he smiled more before reaching behind the camera pulling luke into the shot. I shyly waved not sure how he was going to act but relaxed when he waved back with a goofy grin.

"A- hey love how ya feelin?
H- m'good i was wrestling with alex before zack swept me away to come talk to yall and take my meds.
L- you feelin better then babe?
H- yeah t Tyler's helping a lot actually. Like even Rian likes him
R- yea i was just telling ash about him"

I kinda zoned out as Zack came back with a green tea and my meds pulling me into his side. I took my meds and slowly sipped at the tea. I was completely lost in thought when a hand started waving in front of my face. "Sorry wha," i asked still half spaced as Alex looked at me worried. "Hun are you ok," he asked quietly leading me to his bunk. "yeah Alex I was just thinking." I said calmly leaning into him. Something about Alex had always made me feel calmer. I could never figure out if it was the way that he radiated positivity or how calm he was in most cases. Yes, Alex had anxiety issues also but he always did a better job at not necessarily hiding it but more controlling it. And even just sitting in silence with him was sometimes the mot calming thing in the world. Simpy because he would stay with me as long as i needed him. I leaned into his side letting myself relax as he randomly drew shapes on my back. "H hey alex," I whispered quietly after a bit. "Yeah hun," he hummed softly. "Thanks for always helping me. I kn know im annoying and not the most agreeable person b but youve always helped so thanks," I said softly hugging him. He smiled hugging me back, "hun I made a promise when we met that Id always be here for you and I have no intentions of ever breaking it." He hugged me close gently rubbing my back.

A few hours later i was laying in the back lounge with my head in cals lap as i let my mind wander the meds once again taking over helping me relax. His nimble fingers were gently weaving through my hair as i laid half awake. "Its been so long since ive been able to just sit with you lil one," cal said quietly after a while causing me to giggle. "You better be glad i love you or id beat the shit outta you for calling me lil," i muttered softly grabbing his other hand playing with it like a little kid. I couldn't hide my smile as his giggles filled the room," well youve always been my lil one even if youre older. Youre my cuddly lil one." He whispered softly practically petting me. I groaned after a bit hearing someone call my name and lazily trudged to the front of the bus seeing Zack standing there with his hoodie over his arm and my shoes and backpack ready. "Time to go to soundcheck hun," he said calmly holding me up as I pulled my shoes on then he gently wrapped his huge hoodie around me. I lazily pulled my backpack on trudging slowly through the rain and mud to where theye would have their soundcheck at and found a dry perch under one of the tents to sit on. I pulled my laptop out connecting my camera and phone letting all the video clips download as I listened to everyone run their sound check. I was feeling miserable and freezing curling tight trying to shield myself from the wind.

After their soundcheck ty ran over cuddling me close as I nuzzled into him shivering. "Tyyyyy mfreezing and zacky wont let me stay on the bus," i whine into his chest pouting. "Awe my poor baby cmon lets go get you warmed up then cutie," he cooed leading me off to the issues bus holding me close. I smiled widely and sighed as the warmth quickly engulfed me like a hug and cuddled into the plush couch relaxing. He went over grabbing some drinks from the fridge before sitting down and pulling me onto his lap.
