Ch. 28

I was in awe when we got back to the hotel room and the living area had been rearranged for a lazy movie day. The counter was covered in snacks and platters of nachos and pizza and a note saying the fridge was stocked. And i was even more impressed seeing a two foot stack of movies near the huge projection screen. I quickly changed to pajama shorts letting my shirt fall off my shoulder again as I pulled Cal close. I giggled quietly when he nuzzled into my shoulder blowing a loud obnoxious raspberry causing me to squeal and try to wiggle away. I smiled letting my knees give out dragging him with me onto the large day bed the hotel set up and bear hugging myself around him. "Oi mate when did you adopt a baby koala she quite cute," Luke teased as he put the the newest Spiderman movie in. I blushed hiding my face in cals chest melting into his warmth. The soft gentle patterns he was tracing on my back were extremely soothing as the movie played quietly. I had to smack his hand away from my face however during the scenes with shirtless Tom Holland. "Babe stop it my other boyfriend is on the tv," i giggled nipping at his hand when he covered my mouth. He playfully rolled his eyes holding me closer in a very possessive way that made my heart skip a beat. The fact that this gorgeous guy was jealous of a famous celebrity that was so far out of my league made my heart swell. I slowly made myself as small as possible in his arms nuzzling into him more rubbing my eyes after the second movie. I had just closed my eyes when there was a loud knock at the door. "Lucas robert hemmings i sw..." i was soon cut off as he curled closer behind me. "S'not mine," we both whined pathetically when Cal untangled himself from us and answered the door. "Lucas it is yours." He grumbled shoving Ashton to his side. I watched as Ashton wiggled between the edge of the day bed and Luke but still reached over rubbing my back. "Hey princess its ok Im just here to pick up Luke." I didn't move much but cuddled into Cal more hiding my face. I didn't want him to leave yet. His lanky body wrapped around me from behind was comforting right now. His soft breaths on my shoulder had me nearly asleep until Ashton pulled him away from me, and once again I had to swallow back a pathetic whine. Instead I curled even closer to Cal clinging to him as the other two got up and packed Lukes stuff. As much as I tried I couldn't stop the small whimper when Luke crawled over putting a gentle hand on my shoulder and kissed my head. "Ohhh honey shhhh," he cooed softly, "baby its just for a few days ok I promise you can come stay with me when you get back." But his words just made me feel worse as i choked on my breath and teared up. He sighed and scooted up the bed pulling me onto his lap as I curled into a tight ball clinging to him. I was beginning to feel the anxiety attack coming as he hummed soft words to me. The world around me faded away as I clung to Luke. I had spent so much time with Calum lately I forgot how much I needed Luke. I had completely curled around him before Ashton walked back with his bags and I lost it sobbing into Lukes shoulder. The combination of it being that week and me still being sleep deprived was making me delirious and completely break down. His arms held me closer as he hummed softly rocking us back and forth a bit. "Baby breathe for me please," i could hear the panic in his face as I was struggling to breathe and still crying as hard as ever. I was in complete shock when Ashton reached over smacking my cheek a bit harsher than hed planned. My hand flying to my face as my eyes bugged out. I looked down with ugly tears still streaming down my face as I grabbed my backpack and phone walking out. Little sniffles were the only sound I made as I walked around the hotel parking lot looking for Cals car. I had somehow managed to sneak the keys out with me when i grabbed my backpack and kept clicking them to find it. It would be my luck though that as soon as I rounded the corner Cal was leaning against his rover. I shook my head dropping the keys and walking away as he chased after me. I stumbled as I got the the stairs about to fall when his arms wrapped tightly around my waist. "Baby please just wait," he turned me to him holding a soft cold pack to my cheek with sad eyes. "He didn't mean to be that harsh... You were hysterical and I couldn't get to you to calm down so he tried the slap method and yes it was harsh but at least you didn't p..." I shook my head with angry tears as I ran down the stairs pulling my sandals off after the second flight. I was almost to the bottom when Luke caught me. "Baby... bug shhhhh its ok ive got you baby its ok." He kept repeating that over and over as he scooped me up holding me close. I hid my face in his neck as cal stomped down the last flight behind us. I heard him gasping for air as he watched Luke soothe me in ways he hadnt. "Can I take you back to the room princess? I think you need a nap." Luke asked me softly kissing my temple as I nodded feeling exhausted again. He held me even tighter as he leaned into the wall of the elevator. Once we got to the room he tucked me into the bed with his favorite sweater wrapped around me as he rubbed my back soothing me to sleep.
