Imagine #2 part 2

You woke up that morning and realized that today was the winter wonderland ball. Realizing you had the day to choose sent shivers down your spine. You hated breaking the other dwarfs heart and you were dreading the guilt you would feel afterwards.

There was Kili, who was the mischievous, cheeky one. With a soft side when it came to you. He was sweet and caring and endearing.

There was Fili, who was loyal and protective and who was also kind and caring and loved you to pieces. He was thoughtful of others and selfless.

There was only one that you truly loved.

You slipped on your dress as you quietly and shyly went down the hall. Music was playing as people talked laughed and danced.

"Kili?" You asked quietly "come with me?"

He nodded as he said goodbye to a maiden and followed me to a balcony.

"What is it y/N? " He asked concerned

"I have to tell you something...." You swallowed so nervously. He motioned for you to continue. "You remember when you and Fili fought over me?"

"Very much so yes."

"I-I have chosen."

His eyebrows raised as he waited and noticed the tears falling "why are you crying?"

"Because I feel so guilty! I've been dreading this day for ages and I feel so guilty but I can't lie to you about it, because it's not fair to you. And I feel so guilty and selfish for what I'm going to do that I'm afraid I'll hurt you and it will take you forever to recover-"

"Y/N" he spoke as he smiled "it's okay. I was going to tell you that you should go for Fili. He deserves a wonderful person like you."

"Your not mad? Or depressed? Or even sad?" You looked at him confused

"No. " He smiled genuinely "I'm simply happy."

A comfortable silence passed over you as you looked around for Fili.

"There he is. Go get em sis."

"Sis?"

"Well your obviously going to get married and your like a sister to me sooooo."

You laughed as you walked over to Fili.

"I know what you've decided- "

"Fili-"

"And congrats"

"Well congrats to you too. " Fili whirled around as he stared with hopeful eyes "I choose you Fili because I Love you!" You smiled so big and you felt like jumping and screaming and wiping all at once.

"Your not.... Engaged to Kili?"

You burst out laughing as he smiled relieved. You ran as he spun you around and kissing you passionately.

"Well the looks of it, looks like you made your decision." Thorin grinned "A wonderful choice. Congratulations." you nodded and smiled- "and I think Fili has something for you as well. "

You turned around and saw Fili on one knee with a gorgeous diamond ring.

"Out of the frying pan." You whispered "Fili Oakenshield."

"Y/N I have never loved anyone more than I do you. Your sweet kind and caring and I wouldn't choose any other woman to be my wife. Y/N will you marry me?"

"YEESS YES YES YES YES OMG YES!" You screamed and squealed as everyone laughed "IM GETTING HITCHED!"

It was the best night you could ever ask for
