It took a few minutes before Wednesday was finally able to sit up on her own. Wanda then took the liberty to use her magic clean up all the blood on them and mend Wednesday's torn clothes back together. Now the only proof of Wanda's meltdown was the thirty foot diameter of withered and dead nature around them.

"As much as I would wish to stay here with you both," Wednesday began, "I do need to go find my mother."

"Right, of course." Wanda stood up and helped Wednesday to her feet while Enid held out her arms ready to catch her just in case. And for good reason, since once Wednesday was standing and took a step forward, she stumbled and almost fell to her knees.

"Woah there." Enid caught her and helped stabilize her standing. "You need to rest."

"Unfortunately, I don't have the time. I need to find the truth and get my father released from jail."

Wanda's eye widened. "What! Jail? Why—" she sighed and shook her head. "I avoid everyone for twenty four hours and everything goes to shit."

"I can still fix it. I just need to talk to my mother."

"Well, I can help you walk there, if you want. It's not like I got anything to do today."

"Could I come too?" Enid asked. "My parents weekend isn't going great either and I definitely don't want to go back to my mom right now."

Wanda turned to her. "Why? What happened?"

"She wants to send me to werewolf conversion camp."

"What! What the fuck! That's so fucked!"

Enid frowned. "Yeah. I know. It's why I stormed off and was able to hear you in the first place."

"A quick stab with a silver knife would solve your problems," Wednesday said with a shrug. "That's all I'm saying."

She sighed. "Not gonna lie...kind of considering it." She quickly shook her head. "But no! No killing my mom. Instead let's go meet Wednesday's." She focused on the girl in question. "If you're okay with that, that is. I know we talked briefly yesterday about meeting your family. You can still say no."

Wednesday took a deep breath and breathed it out, which honestly, kind of hurt. "Let's go meet my mother."

They began walking back to the school, Enid and Wanda helping Wednesday walk. Wanda even took the chance to explain her realization about the red cloak. How it might've been the same person who set the fire. If their warlock pact slows aging like hers does, it was a definite possibility. They were about halfway back to the school when Wanda shouted in pain as a hand of red and black energy wrapped around her back, squeezing hard as it yanked her back ten feet, definitely bruising her back. She groaned in pain as she laid on the floor.

"Wanda!" Enid shouted and went to rush to her, but Wednesday held her back. Knowing from last time that Wanda would want them to keep their distance. Even if she also wanted to rush in to help, despite her current weak state. In fact, it was the one reason why she wasn't. Otherwise, she would be rushing in herself.

"How many times do I have to kill you!" Red Cloak shouted as she marched toward them from forty feet away.

Wanda rolled onto her stomach and began to push herself up as she glared. "Till it sticks."

"Wanda, let's run!" Enid shouted at her. "Come on!"

But Wanda knew Red Cloak would just follow them. She got back on her feet as Red Cloak stopped thirty feet away. She glared hard at the person who might be responsible for her sister's death. "Listen, I'm really not in a good mood today, so leave now while you can." She was fully bluffing. Thanks to her meltdown, she was currently out of magic energy for any big spells and couldn't even use her strongest since it's a once a day thing. Which meant she could only do so much. And if she couldn't even beat the red cloak before, she definitely wasn't going to win now. All she could hope was that they would leave her girlfriends alone.
