Wednesday and Wanda ended up back at Wednesday and Enid's dorm some time later. It was still night, so Enid was still fast asleep. And Wanda had used her magic to clean all the blood off of them so Enid wouldn't possibly smell it and wake up. Wanda just wanted to lay down and rest, but Wednesday refused to let her out of her sight. So they went to her dorm. Wednesday gave her some clothes to wear for the night, and since Wanda's only an inch taller than her, they fit perfectly.

Wednesday then gave the bed to her, saying she would take the floor. But Wanda called her stupid and told her to get in the damn bed with her. So they laid down next to each other and Wednesday slowly nestled closer and closer into her side. Wanda didn't mention it and just wrapped her arm around her. Wednesday wasn't planning to go to sleep, but Wanda urged her to. And while being curled up next to Wanda, it was basically an impossible challenge not to.

And during the night, Wanda's mind was brought to Phelros' throne room. "I told you to be careful!"

Wanda held up her hands in defense. "I tried!"

"You died!"

"But not from a lack of trying!"

Phelros sighed and buried his face in his hands. "Okay, okay. We need to get you better fighting spells. We're going to swap some stuff out."

Wanda nodded. "A fantastic idea."

So they spent some time swapping out a few of her spells. They ended up only changing three, Phelros reminding her of her stronger once a day spells that she hadn't been using. But Wanda up til now hasn't really been trying to kill the red cloak. She just wanted answers. But maybe it was time for that to change. Though she still had one question.

"Do you know how she keeps watching me?" She asked him. "Is there a spell she can use for that?"

Phelros thought for a moment. "There is one spell, but every time it's used there's a chance for the target to detect it. It's easier to detect the less the caster knows the person they're targeting. So if you're saying you haven't been able to detect it this whole time, then that could be mean that this person knows you well."

But who would that be? Someone she knows well that's a warlock and wants her dead? That didn't fit the bill of anyone she knew at all. "Well, I certainly don't know them. You sure they're not just invisible?"

"They could be. I don't know. But for the love of the hells, my child, be careful."

"I'm trying!"

Enid woke up the next morning to the adorable sight of Wednesday nestled into Wanda's side. Though of course she didn't know why Wanda was even here. Nor why she would allow this. So she quietly said, "I'm surprised you're allowing this."

Wanda gave a small smile. "I figured I should make an exception seeing how she watched me die last night."

"What!"

Wednesday startled awake and grabbed the hidden knife under her pillow, making a wild swing toward Enid. Thankfully, Enid just leaned back to dodge it with a yelp.

"Woah!" Wanda wrapped her arms around Wednesday's waist and pulled her back, just holding her. "It's Enid, it's Enid."

Wednesday's crazed eyes focused and she relaxed into Wanda's arms as she sighed. "Apologies." She dropped the knife on the floor.

Enid sat down next to her on the bed and looked at her two girlfriends. "What the hell happened last night? I know Wednesday snuck out, but..."

"I decided to go with her and we got ambushed by the red cloak on the way back," Wanda answered. "It didn't exactly go well."
