Wanda could admit that she didn't entirely think the whole dying thing through. Too bad she only realized that when it was too late. See, the whole point of dying together was so they would be together in the afterlife. Only Wanda forgot to take in account of their warlock pacts. Because once they died, Wanda's soul went to Phelros' palace in Warkel, while Hilda's went to Arkno's palace in Devekla. They died together this time, and yet they were spectated once more.

Fortunately, Phelros had a solution. He could use his magic to basically FaceTime Arkno so they could let the two sisters talk. Unfortunately, Arkno kept refusing. He wouldn't let Hilda talk to her and he wouldn't even let her see her. So now Wanda has been going out of her mind with worry after numerous failed attempts of contacting Arkno, him just severing the connection every time Phelros made it. And it didn't help that she was severally missing her girlfriends and friends.

Which is what had her sitting on the balcony of Phelros' throne room, the tallest tower of his palace, overlooking the demon city. The palace was in the middle of the city and the whole thing was on a floating island above the middle of the layer. The sky was dark purple with golden clouds, and on the ground was just rows and rows of torture chambers to punish the murderers and violent souls. The Cocytus river flowed through the layer, but its wails couldn't be heard in the city.

Wanda was sitting on the floor of the balcony, legs dangling over the edge through the railing and her forehead pressed against one the horizontal bars. She sighed, not knowing what to do with the guilt and pain in her heart as Rocket laid on top of her head and enjoyed the view with her. She still had her magic in hell because Phelros is still giving it to her. Which she was very thankful for because it meant she could at least have Rocket if not any of her other friends.

"I thought you may want this." Wanda jumped a little at the sudden voice and turned to see Phelros. He held an acoustic guitar out to here. "I know you're having a hard time right now."

Wanda carefully grabbed the guitar and gave a small smile. "Thanks." She looked down at it as Phelros walked away to give her some space. It was dark purple with some gold lining of flowers, and felt perfect in her hands. "Alright, Rocket, you know the drill." She pulled out the new phone Phelros gave her and set it on the floor as Rocket jumped down from her head.

He opened the phone and set up to record. Then he looked up at her. All ready.

Wanda nodded and took a deep breath. "Alright. Start." He started recording and Wanda began playing a slow melody and just sang whatever came to mind, each line having a pause between them.

"I sit
On this ledge
Thinking
Of the times we were alive
Laughing all night
And I think
To myself
How it could've been you and I
Until it was ruined by"

She sped up the melody a little, no longer pausing as much between the lines.

"Mistakes and heartbreaks and thinking I've got it
Running around and trying to spot it
The pain that I caused by not being honest
And yet you still held me the way that you promised
I'm sorry that I ended up failing you all
If I could go back I'd undo the call
That I made that day that caused us to fall
And maybe one day we could all stand tall
But I'm alone
Outgrown
Feeling dethroned
With no hope
No rope
Down this slippery slope
And I know
It's close
But I can't find home
And now everyday I feel so alone
As I sit"

She slowed it back down a bit.

"On this ledge
Thinking
Of the times we were alive
Laughing all night
And I think
To myself
How it could've been you and I
Until it was ruined by
Me myself and I"
