It's Basically Their First Date

True to Enid's word, the next morning she ran right up to Wanda and engulfed her in quite possibly the biggest hug known to man, picking her up and all. Wanda groaned as her back cracked (which kind of felt nice honestly). "Okay," she spoke strained, "lovin' what you're puttin' down. And by that I mean, can you put me down? I can't breathe."

"Sorry!" Enid put her down and pulled back for a moment. "I just want you to know that I really appreciate you and love being your friend." She smiled and pulled her into another (softer) hug.

This time Wanda was able to reciprocate, loving the feeling of being in Enid's arms but also extremely confused as to why it was happening. "Uh huh, uh huh, why?"

Enid pulled away again. "Because it's true!"

Wanda nodded with narrowed eyes. "Uh huh, uh huh, but why are you telling me that like you just found out I'm going to attempt suicide?"

Enid's eyes widened in concern. "Are you!" She threw her arms around her in another bone crushing hug. "Don't commit suicide!"

Wanda's voice was strained again. "I'm not—"

"Wanda's committing suicide!" Ajax ran over worriedly and joined in on the hug from behind.

"I'm not—"

"Bitch, if you kill yourself then I'm killin' myself! Get over here!" Bianca ran up and punched her shoulder before joining in the now group hug.

"No one is killing themselves!" Yoko ran up with Divina and Kent.

"We are going to get through this!" Divina added as they all joined in on the hug.

"Just breathe and relax, Wanda, it's gonna be okay," Kent told her.

"What is happening?" She asked, voice still strained from not being able to breathe.

"See, Wanda, we all love and care for you," Enid assured her.

"Can't...bre..."

"What was that?"

"She can't breathe, you morons," Wednesday informed them as she walked up, keeping a good six feet apart.

"Oh shit!" They all pulled away and said various things in apology as Wanda wheezed with her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath.

"I'm not...going to...kill myself," she said between wheezes.

"We did it, gang!" Ajax cheered with his fists raised in accomplishment.

Wanda kicked his legs and slapped his hands away. "Y'all didn't do shit!" She had to take a few breaths of air. "I was never going to kill myself! I am so confused right now!" She glanced at all her friends annoyed, though she supposed it was nice to know they cared. "Ugh!" She shouted as she stomped her feet and then stormed away to go eat breakfast in the cafeteria.

Enid had to admit that was adorable. But then Kent said, "Wait, so she's not gonna kill herself?" Everyone said various statements of being confused before walking to the cafeteria as well.

Wednesday fell in stride next to Enid. "I thought I said to be subtle."

"I tried!" She sighed. "But I guess it's not really my strong suit."

Wednesday took a deep breath. "Did you even mention the harvest festival?"

Her eyes widened. "I forgot!" She ran forward after Wanda. "Wanda, wait up!"

But Wanda did not want to get suffocated a third time and ran away while shouting the one thing she never thought she'd tell Enid. "Stay away from me!"
