Thursday night, the gang decided to hang out at Namtan's automobile repair shop after a day at work and law school.

“Are they in Europe already?” Freen asked while opening the battle of champagne she brought.

“Yep. P'Lingling texted me that they landed around noon earlier.” Film replied, her hands holding Namtan's while her head rested against her shoulder.

“You know it's a pain watching them.” Gap added in while Freen poured the liquor into his glass. “It's obvious that they’ve already fallen for each other.” He rolled his eyes, making Film hum in agreement and Junji chuckle.

“I really thought N'Lingling was the only slow one.” Faye shook her head before drinking her beer. She still found it funny how Lingling was totally clueless on how to go about ‘courting’ a woman that she had to ask them why Orm didn't like her gift.

“Give them a break. It's technically our Lingling’s only relationship.” Junji giggled.

“Fair.” Gap agreed to that. He shrugged his shoulders before sitting down next to Faye. “She's still testing the waters, maybe.” He chuckled.

“Too careful.” Freen emphasized.

Faye nodded at that. “Correct.”

“From what I heard, Orm has never been in any relationship before either.” Film added and just like always, Namtan nodded.

“That explains it.” Faye let out a laugh.

“They're both clueless.” Freen shrugged. She raised her brow at Gap when he snorted. “What?”

“That's huge coming from you, Freen.” Gap laughed when his friend rolled her eyes at him.

“Should we do something?” Namtan asked, glancing towards her girlfriend who seemed to be thinking.

“I'm sure they'll figure it out themselves.” Junji grinned while swirling the wine inside her glass.

“Guys…they're in a foreign land all by themselves...” Film smiled rather mischievously.

Faye narrowed her eyes on that but liked whatever Film might be going with it. Freen raised her brow. Junji hummed. Gap pursed his lips while nodding, probably got what Film meant. While Namtan was just smiling at whatever her girlfriend was saying.

“...I might have suggested a thing or two on what Orm could do for P'Lingling’s birthday.” Film proudly smiled.

“Genius.” Namtan grinned, making her girlfriend giggle.

“I know right.”

“Whatever that is, cheers to that.” Faye raised her bottle and so did the others.

Meanwhile at the other side of the globe, Orm sat down by the window of their flat while watching the scenery outside. Italy was everything she imagined it to be. They arrived at dawn, tired from the long flight, so they rested for a while before getting breakfast. The Kwong's place in Florence was a few blocks away from the famous museum. It was a 350 sqm. apartment building with tenants on the first 3 floors. The top one was reserved for them.

They were able to visit the Opera del Duomo Museum and take pictures there before finding a market place to stack their pantry. However, Lingling got called for an urgent meeting with the board. It was technically their honeymoon, yet people at Noiam couldn't let her wife rest for a couple of days. Now, the older girl was busy with her iPad reading the document they needed her to sign urgently.

It was dusk then. The way the retreating sun cast its rays on the old buildings of the city was picturesque. Orm could only wish the executives at the company would let Lingling live at this moment. With a sigh, she stood up to finish arranging her clothes in the closet. While doing so, she realized that her hygiene pouch was missing.
