“I'll prepare you a warm bath.” Orm told Lingling as soon as they entered her room. While she was at it, the latter sat down on the side of the bed.
Lingling smiled while looking at the photos on the wall. They were Orm's childhood photos as well as some family photos. She thought her wife looked adorable. She stood up to get a closer look. There was one where baby Orm was drenched in the rain but she was smiling happily. She remembered that she said she used to play in the rain. She thought that her wife really had a colorful childhood. As she was looking at them one by one, she felt soft hands circling her waist. Her smile grew.
“I looked like a street child.” Orm chuckle.
Lingling turned her head towards Orm a bit. “You look cute.”
Orm wrinkled her nose and rested her chin on Lingling’s shoulder.
Lingling carefully removed Orm's hands to turn around so they were facing each other. She then put them over her shoulders. “Hm?” She gave her a peck then. “You do look cute until now.”
“Ay.” Orm pouted. “Now you're just being silly.”
“No, I'm not.” Lingling grinned while shaking her head. She leaned in once again for a kiss that her wife gladly received. “I missed you.”
Orm felt herself blushing. “I missed you too, Lingling Kwong.” She kissed her this time. “You must be exhausted. Go take a shower, so you can rest.”
To be honest, Lingling was still a little upset about what she saw but she didn't want to bother Orm with her petty jealousy especially during this time. And with every kiss, she felt a little better. “Okay.”
While Lingling was inside the bathroom, Orm went to arrange her clothes in the dresser. Afterwards, she helped her dry her hair and apply moisturizer. As she was doing so, she couldn't help but feel giddy since her wife had her eyes closed and smiling happily at her. She looked so adorable, she wanted to kiss her so bad. “All done.” And she did.
“Thank you…” Lingling smiled once more. She gulped and then added, “...my love.”
Orm was taken aback. She didn't expect that one. But, once she recovered, she let out a giggle. “You’re welcome, Bubu.” She said before leaning down and giving her wife another kiss. She has been thinking about what to call her wife and she found bubu to be cute. Finally, she was able to call her that.
Now, it was time for Lingling to get flustered. She felt like a kid blushing. “Bubu?”
“Uh-huh.” Orm chuckled. “Because you look like a cute baby pup, so I'm calling you Bubu.”
“Ah.” Lingling looked down and smiled to herself.
Orm still felt like seeing Lingling smile like this a fever dream. She liked it a lot.
“If so…then…can I call you baobao?”
Orm playfully whined. She that one. Lingling Kwong's cuteness was making her insane. She pouted and nodded. More so when she heard her wife giggle. “Okay.” She said in a cute voice.
Lingling stood up and led her wife to bed. “Let's go to bed, Baobao.” She lied down first before inviting Orm to lie down next to her. Once her wife was beside her, she pulled her to her chest and kissed her head.
Orm unconsciously ended up playing with her wife's fingers again. “Thank you for coming here, Bubu.” She said while looking up at Lingling. She was blushing so hard at the last word.
“I told you I'd follow you soon.” Lingling said with a soft tone while smiling.
Orm let out a happy sigh. She was already sulking earlier since Lingling has not sent her anything at all only to find out that she was coming home to her. “How's your meeting with Ms. Williams?” With that, she noticed her wife's smile faded a little. “Hm?”
