“P'Orm!”

As soon as Orm walked into the arrival area of Buriram airport, she spotted Love waving her hand amongst the crowd. She smiled despite the anxiety she has been feeling since she heard the news about her grandmother. “Nong, have you been waiting long?”

Love gave her cousin a hug and replied, “I just got here too, Phi.”

“How's grandma?” Orm asked. Her smile faded upon noticing the gloomy expression on her cousin's face. She let out a shaky breath.

“Grandma feels a little better now. The medicines they're giving her are helping with the pain.” Love answered. She cried the moment the doctors told them the news and had cried secretly when their grandmother was sleeping. “But I think it's better if uncle tells you, P'Orm.”

‘It's that bad, isn't it?’ Orm wasn't stupid not to understand the undertone but she nodded anyway. If she could only be with her grandmother for a week or a month more, then she would make the most out of it. “Okay.”

Their driver helped Orm with her bag as they went straight to the parking lot where their van was at. As soon as they got in, she closed her eyes and tried to get some rest. Upon landing in Thailand, she only got to rest for a couple of hours before heading back to the airport again to go to Buriram. Her head was aching and her body was again trying to adapt to the time, but she pushed it aside since she was determined to see her grandmother before it's too late.

As they were driving to the hospital, Orm tried but she couldn't sleep. Aside from worrying about her grandmother, she couldn't stop thinking about Lingling. It had been just hours after she last saw her at the airport in Bangkok, but she already missed her.

Back in Paris.

“We'll book the earliest flight to Buriram once we arrive in Thailand, okay?” Lingling said with utmost softness in her voice while comforting Orm in her embrace.

Again, Orm apologized, “I'm sorry, P'Ling.”

“Shhh.” Lingling kissed the side of Orm's head in response. “We'll go there, alright?”

Orm leaned back a little and looked up at Lingling. “Is it okay? Have you checked your schedule yet?”

“Not yet…but it's probably just meetings that I can reschedule. Dad did say we could extend the trip, so maybe I can come with you to Buriram instead.” Lingling replied. After yesterday and last night, she only wanted to spend more time with her wife and be there for her for anything. “If it will put you at ease, I'll go check it now.”

And so, Orm sat up so Lingling could check her phone.

Lingling has not checked her emails since yesterday. Usually, Nene would send her schedule on Saturdays. When she opened her account, there it was, an email from her secretary. She was right, they were mostly just meetings she could reschedule except for One on Tuesday. “Oh.”

“What is it?”

Lingling has almost forgotten that she requested another meeting with Manoban's business representative. She never forgets important meetings. “I have a meeting with Ms. Williams. It almost slipped my mind.”

“Ah.” Orm was a little disappointed but she expected it somehow. Her wife was the head of the company anyway.

“I can try to reschedule—” Lingling apologetically said, but Orm hushed her down as she touched her lip.

“It's okay, P'Ling. You can just go to Buriram when you can.”

“Don't you want me there?”
