Dandin's fat olive colored face acefully studied his system display. For an 18-month-old he was tall, standing at 90 centimeters. From his head grew a mess of dark red hair. His eyes were colored green with gold flecks in them. He wore a white tunic, brown pants, and a pair of blue shoes. He had a belt around his waste that held two bags full of his, "favorite rocks," which he used for weight training. His free hand grasped a wooden sword that he always carried with him so he could, "figh bad duys." He'd become the talk of the Hatamo Clan because of his dedication to "playing ninja." He shocked his parents with his capabilities, but they weren't worried about him yet. They just said, "he's a marvel," and wondered if he would, "be someone special in the future."

When Dandin wasn't training he would eat, sleep, and go through the family books and, "pretend" to read them. So far he'd learned a few pieces of useful information, but his family didn't have very many books and most of them were kids books his parents had bought him. To his sorrow there were no ninjutsu techniques. Either his parents didn't have any manuals in their house, or he couldn't find them.

The useful things he learned about the world were that the five strongest Ninja Villages were in the lands of Mountains, Wind, Storms, Tall Grass and Rivers, Shirayamagakure in the Land of Mountains was the strongest ninja village, Kazegakure in the Land of Wind was the second strongest village, both had three "Sokonin" level ninja which was the rank above Junin. That's why they were considered the strongest. "I believe that would be an "S Rank Ninja" or "Kage" level ninja from my previous life. The Land of Mountains and the Land of Wind often fought. There used to be a country between them but in the last war fifteen years ago it was completely destroyed. It had been known as the Land of Lava. It's hidden village even had a Sokonin and fourty Junin, but it was still completely destroyed in the end. Only refugees and rogue ninja still lived in that region, which was now known as The Great Expanse. Ashirigakure was the hidden village from the Land of Storm. The land of storm bordered the Land of Wind on its South and occupied a large stretch of ocean shore and four massive islands. It had two Sokonin which allowed it to be considered a major village.

Lastly, the Land of Tall Grass and the Land of Rivers, where Dandin lived, bordered the Land of Mountains on its South side. The Land of Tall Grass and Land of Rivers were allies who defended themselves from the aggressive Shirayamagakure. The two countries shared a very strong relationship because they had both suffered under the Land of Mountains' ambitions. Each village had two Sokonin, who always advanced and retreated together. Because of their alliance Shirayamagakure rarely fought them directly. Their hidden villages were named, Sogakure and Kawagakure respectively.

Kawagakure was Dandin's home. It was the weakest of the five major villages, and he was from the Hatamo Clan, the weakest of its eleven clans.

"You get what you pay for."

Because of the Geopolitical situation most of the world was either supporting the Land of Mountains or the Land of Wind. When these two fought at least seven countries would also be dragged into the fight. When Dandin learned about all these strong countries it made him even more fanatical about training and growing stronger.

"I have worked hard for the last 12 months." Dandin said with satisfaction. "But It's hard to raise my strength stat. Even after running around the clan compounds every day for the last month with these rocks, I'm still stuck at 5 strength. Is it impossible for my small body to grow any stronger? Or do I need better training methods?"
