Dandin smiled widely. Finally, his beloved Amy was here! He'd been in this world for three years and he'd felt loved and lonely simultaneously. At first, he logically assigned the start time for his family while only thinking about how their lives worked on earth and how their family dynamic worked then, but he didn't realize how emotionally hard it would be to wait for his family. They were all precious to him. As time passed his longing for them only grew. Every day he regretted his choice to have them come into the world so much later than he did. However, now there was another person. He just had to find her.

Dandin had thought for a long time about whether it was better to allow everyone to pick their own abilities or if he should assign their skills. He steadily selected the better option.

Over the last six months he'd decided that it was best for him to choose his party's talents. While he didn't know what everyone's interests would be in this new world, he was the only person that experienced this world and could think about their abilities from a party perspective. When they were all united it would be better to complement each other.

He had experience and understood what kinds of talents he should focus on. He was born with a few extra talents, so he knew his family would too. Since they were all either civilian ninjas or clan ninjas they would have the basics available to them.

After three years of looking at his status panel he was very familiar with the system window. He hadn't been able to do anything actively with it for some time, but the system was user friendly. He quickly scanned through and found Amy's point account. That was the information he needed the most since he had to budget her points carefully.

"Not bad," he thought. He had more points than she did, but he picked the party's start conditions. He had spent 8,200 points on himself and only received a B- when the system graded his selections, but that's because he took two growth type talents that were very expensive.

But he'd come up with a new strategy for Amy, and that was to give her immediate strength. He had one simple way to do that, a bloodline ability.

Bloodline abilities were special. They were usually strong, presented unorthodox means of battle, and gave low-level ninjas a huge advantage over their peers. Imagine, your strongest jutsu is a water bullet but your enemy can control ice and they freeze your attacks in place. What would you do? Then they start to launch ice spears and ice needles at you but your fire jutsu are too weak to stop them and your water is completely countered. Now what do you do?

In this world there are three different types of bloodline abilities. There are Kekkie Genkai, which are bloodline abilities that combine elemental chakra. Like wind and water elements being combined to make ice, fire and water to make steam or boil, earth and water creating wood, etc. There are also body modification bloodline abilities, which are typically called Kekkie Genkai as well. The two main body Kekkie Genkai are Dojutsu which modifies the user's eyes, and Shintaika which somehow empower the body, Eyes of Divination and Steel Skin are examples of Dojutsu and Shintaika respectively. Third are Henshin which transform the user's body into a creature. Henshin users are very rare in the world but seemed to have been very prevalent in ancient times. Their strong clans were diluted and exterminated and their weak clans fled into hiding.
