JULIAN

I left Lexi's apartment, feeling torn and conflicted. My mind was a jumble of emotions, my heart heavy with guilt. I knew I had to make a decision about our relationship, but the weight of my responsibilities to Sarah and my business threatened to suffocate me.

As I arrived home, I found Sarah packing her bags, her movements swift and deliberate.

"Sarah, we need to talk," I said, trying to sound calm despite the turmoil brewing inside.

Sarah turned, her eyes cold and detached. "There's nothing left to say, Julian. I'm leaving." Her voice was flat, devoid of emotion.

I approached her, feeling a pang of guilt and regret. "Sarah, please-"

"Stop," Sarah interrupted, her voice rising. "You've made your choice. Now live with it." She turned back to her packing, her movements becoming more frantic.

I watched, feeling helpless. I thought about our children, Evelyn and Jackson, and how this would affect them. They were already struggling to cope with our marital issues.

"Sarah, what about the kids?" I asked.

Sarah's expression softened slightly.

"They'll stay with me, of course. You can have visitation rights."

I nodded, feeling a mix of relief and sadness.

And then Sarah dropped a bombshell.

"I'm pregnant, Julian."

My world stopped. I felt like I'd been punched in the gut.

"What?" I stuttered, my mind reeling.

Sarah's eyes flashed, a mix of anger and sadness.

"You're going to be a father again, Julian. Think about that when you're with Lexi." Her voice dripped with venom.

My mind was racing. A third child. With Sarah. What did this mean for my future with Lexi? I thought about Lexi's words, her desire to be open about our relationship. Now, everything seemed uncertain.

How would I balance my love for Lexi with my responsibilities to Sarah and our three children?
