JULIAN

I gazed lovingly at my twins, Atticus and Aurora. Atticus, with his bold gaze and dark curls, and Aurora, with her delicate features and soft blonde hair, were perfect.

As I navigated the challenges of fatherhood, co-parenting with Sarah proved difficult. Our differing parenting styles and schedules created tension.

"Julian, you're not doing it right," Sarah would say, criticizing my every move.

I tried to remain patient, focusing on the twins' well-being.

But the sleepless nights, feedings, and diaper changes consumed my days. Sarah and I worked together, yet our differences simmered beneath the surface.

One evening, as I was burping Atticus, Sarah walked in, observing the chaos.

"Need help?" she asked.

I hesitated, but she took Aurora from me.

For a moment, we worked together seamlessly.

But as the night wore on, our differences resurfaced.

"Julian, you're spoiling them," Sarah said.

"I'm just trying to soothe them," I replied.

The argument escalated, our voices hushed to avoid waking the babies.

"Sarah, we need to find common ground," I said.

Sarah's expression softened.

"I know. I just want what's best for them."

"Me too," I said.

We shared a fleeting moment of understanding.

But as the days passed, our disagreements persisted.

How would we balance our parenting styles?

Would we ever find harmony?
