LEXI

Three months living with Julian, and our love continued to flourish. Every day felt like a dream. We'd wake up together, share our writing goals, and spend hours crafting stories.

My book, "Love Reborn," was finally published. It told our story - the struggles, the triumphs, and the love that conquered all. Julian beamed with pride.

But amidst the joy, a nagging thought lingered. My period was late.

I tried to brush it off, but the possibility lingered. Could I be pregnant?

One morning, Julian left for a meeting. I seized the moment.

I rushed to the pharmacy, bought a pregnancy test, and returned home.

My heart pounded as I unwrapped the box.

"Please, universe, let this be positive," I whispered.

I took the test, set it aside, and paced.

Three minutes felt like eternity.

I picked up the test, and my heart skipped a beat.

Two pink lines stared back at me.

Positive.

Tears of joy streaming down my face, I collapsed onto the couch.

"Julian!" I screamed, not caring if the neighbors heard.

The door swung open, and Julian rushed in.

"What's wrong?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

I held up the test.

Julian's eyes widened.

"We're having a baby?" he whispered.

Tears of joy mingled with laughter.

"Yes!" I exclaimed.

Julian swept me into his arms.

"We're starting a new chapter," he whispered.

Our love story was far from over.
