Ramon's retirement party was in full swing as music played...

"I... I picked out a nice bolero. And then we... we just get up and we say thank you, and then... and then we do our little dance, and that's it." Said Ramon.

"What's going on?" Eddie asked.

"Your father's nervous about giving a speech." Helena says.

"Ramon, you never met a microphone you didn't love." Pepa said.

"Yes." Helena said.

"I'm surprised you're not singing, too." Said Pepa.

Ramon laughed.

"Aunt Pepa's right. I'm sure there's a story you could tell." Eddie tells Ramon.

"Actually, I was gonna tell one about you. You know, the... the day I came home and found that the entire side of my truck had been scraped off, including the side mirror and the front bumper." Said Ramon.

"Oh." Helena muttered.

"But you were just a kid, I... I forgave you for that." Ramon tells Eddie.

"No, actually, you didn't." Eddie mumbled, laughing softly. "You... you grounded me."

"Edmundo, it... it's just a story." Helena says.

"Yeah, it's a real sweet one. I... except he's just... he's missing the whole part where he tore me a new one for ruining his truck."

Ramon stared at Eddie

Ramon stared at Eddie.

"You know, kind of like the time he yelled at me for setting off the smoke alarms for making eggs for the girls when I was 12." Eddie tells them.

"Edmundo." Ramon said.

"I'm sure there's a better story you can tell up there. Oh, uh, why don't you tell them about the time you pulled your ten-year-old son aside and told him it was time to step up? Be the man of the house? Why don't you tell them about that time? Then we can all understand why you were never around." Eddie says.

"I was providing for the family." Ramon murmured.

"Providing? Providing what..." Eddie murmured, laughing softly. "Money?"

"Okay..." Helena mumbled.

"Exactly. I had to do what I had to do." Said Ramon.

"A family needs more than money. Look, I never had a childhood, a dad who took care of me. No, you were gone." Eddie said.

Ramon grabbed his arm, staring at Eddie.

"Eddie, Eddie, stop." Said Helena.

Suddenly Ramon fell.

"Ramon!" Pepa shouted.

"Dad? Dad. Okay, just breathe." Eddie said, placing his arms around Ramon, walking him backwards, and sitting Ramon down.

"Is he having a heart attack?" Asked Helena.

Eddie searched Ramon's pockets, finding a small bottle.

"No, it's not a heart attack. All right. Open your mouth, under your tongue." Eddie muttered, putting a tablet under Ramon's tongue. "You know the drill."

"What... what drill? What are... what are these pills?" Helena asked, stammering softly.

"Nitroglycerin. It helps open his blood vessels." Eddie mumbled, handing Helena the small pill bottle. "Just like the doctor said, am I right?"

"What doctor?" Helena asked.

"Ramon, what did you do?" Pepa asked.

"I'm guessing you went to see a cardiologist. Probably on one of your business trips, am I right? How many stents do you have in your arteries?" Asked Eddie.

Ramon held up three fingers.

"What? When?" Helena asked.

"Three years ago." Ramon muttered.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Asked Helena.

"Pride. He didn't want us to think he was weak." Eddie said.

Later, Chimney and Ashleigh took the video to Bobby and Athena...

Athena and Bobby sat at the table watching the video.

Jonah: "You know, I'd say you don't really have, uh, the looks to be a phone operator."

"You're sure about this?" Bobby asked, looking up at Ashleigh.

"C..." Ashleigh mumbled, signing deeply. "I'm not sure what was in that syringe, but it sent her into cardiac arrest. And it seems like the guy's got a history of this."

Chimney nodded.

"Look, it's not that I don't believe you, Ash, but this is a huge accusation. Do you think there's a way we can prove it?"
