Ashleigh, Athena, and Joanne sat in the living room...

"I never saw her leave. Just assumed she made it home." Joanne tells them.

"And you lied to the police back then?" Ashleigh asked.

"Lied to my parents, too. I told them that she was gone when I checked on her. They saw the window was open. It was easier to let them believe that. Then they told the police what happened..." Joanne says.

"Then it was too late for you to take it back." Ashleigh mumbled.

"It was my fault. If I hadn't snuck out that night, she'd still be here."

Ashleigh sat down in front of Joanne, placing her hands on Joanne's arm

Ashleigh sat down in front of Joanne, placing her hands on Joanne's arm.

Sirens could be heard pulling up outside,

"Joanne. You don't... you don't know that." Ashleigh tells Joanne.

"Uh, did you call the police?" Asked Athena.

"You were trespassing." Joanne muttered.

A few minutes later, Athena, Ashleigh, and Joanne walked out of the house, and Clifford climbed out of the car...

"It's okay; everything's fine. I'm not gonna press charges." Joanne says.

"Not sure that's up to you now. Miss Gilbert, I thought we had an understanding that you were gonna let us do our job." Clifford said.

"We were just leaving; relax yourself. We just came by to offer our condolences to Joanne. That's all." Ashleigh muttered.

"Is that right? Because it looks a lot like you are interfering with an active investigation. How about you come with me?"

"Wait a minute, you're arresting her?" Asked Athena

"Wait a minute, you're arresting her?" Asked Athena.

"In all fairness, Mrs. Nash, she was warned. Now I would prefer to take you in without cuffs, but..." Clifford muttered, staring at Ashleigh.

Ashleigh held up her hands, stepping around Clifford.

"Ash?" Athena asked.

"Don't worry about it, Athena." Ashleigh said, walking towards the cop car. "Just don't tell Buck."

Ashleigh stared at Athena, then looked at Clifford, and Ashleigh got into the cop car.

Athena took out her phone, calling Bobby.

Athena was inside Joanne's home on the phone to Bobby...

Bobby: "Can't imagine they'd book her. Question her, sure."

Athena: "But she'll need a lawyer. Okay, thanks. I will meet you there."

Athena hung up the phone, handing Joanne a cup.

"I'm sorry, I got Ashleigh in trouble." Joanne said.

"Well, she can handle herself; she's a firefighter and paramedic." Athena says.

"Well, that explains it." Joanne mumbled, laughing softly and sipping the coffee.

"Uh, I want you to know Ashleigh's probably gonna tell the police what you told us... that Tanya wasn't taken from home. That's new information that'll probably be helpful to them." Athena tells Joanne.

"Um, there's something else. That car we heard... we could see it from where we were hiding, but the sound it made was like a "put-put-put." I've never heard a car sound like that before." Joanne says.

"Okay, that's good to note. I'll bring that up to Detective Dixon and Ash. Listen, Joanne, you take care of yourself. And lock that thing up." Athena murmured, motioning to the gun on the kitchen counter.

Ashleigh was sitting at a table, biting her thumbnail...

Everything played through her mind.

Ashleigh furrowed her eyebrows,

"It's not Athena's father. It's not Samuel." Ashleigh mumbled.

Clifford walked in, sitting down at the table.

"So, what were you doing talking to Joanne Kingston? One could think it was intimidation." Clifford says.

"And one would be wrong. By any chance, did you know Tanya wasn't actually taken from her house like the Kingstons reported?" Asked Ashleigh.

"Did Joanne tell you that?" Clifford asked.

"Yes, she did, but I put the pieces together. That night she snuck out, and Tanya followed her. All this time, you've been trying to solve this case with wrong information, Detective." Ashleigh says.

Clifford stared at Ashleigh, putting some pictures in front of Ashleigh. Ashleigh stared at the pictures, seeing barrettes.

"The barrettes. I'm sure if she was in bed, she wouldn't have been wearing them. There's no way she would have been wearing those. Well... I guess I confirmed it for you. You're welcome." Ashleigh mumbled.

"Thank you. By any chance you have any idea who did it?"
