As everyone's eyes fixed on the newspaper Savitriji had thrown on the table, tension ran thick. The headline featured a large photo of Ishaan and Vanya, overshadowing the actual engagement couple. Savitriji's firm voice cut through the silence. "Yesterday was the first engagement party hosted by the Singhania's in years, yet all the attention went to Ishaan's mystery date".

Aarav, suppressing a laugh, pointed at the picture. "Ohh Yeah!!! His photo is bigger than the engaged couple's." Yash quickly kicked Aarav under the table to stop him from laughing and commenting, but even Yash couldn't hide his amusement. Neelam glared at Aarav, trying to rein in the situation. But Aarav, completely ignoring the tension, continued to stir things up.

Subhash, uninterested in the drama, said, "Why are we worried about the newspaper? We didn't throw the party for the picture sizes."

Savitriji shot him a sharp look. "With your attitude, it's no wonder your picture barely makes it into the paper."

Subhash ignored his mother's tone and shifted his focus to breakfast.

Meanwhile, Vanya observed the odd dynamics of the Savitriji-lavish when it came to celebrations, yet obsessed with trivial details like picture sizes.

Suddenly, Savitriji's piercing gaze turned to Vanya. "Do you like Ishaan?" she asked directly.

The question hit the table like a bomb. Yash, who had been minding his own business, drinking soup, choked and coughed, spitting out the soup in shock. All eyes turned to him, but his gaze was now on Vanya. She sensed the change in his demeanor, as did Avni and Aarav.

Anita, ever the maternal figure, rushed to Yash's side patting his back, scolding, "You've grown so much, and still don't know how to drink soup without spilling it."

Avni, seizing the opportunity to get back at Yash for flooding her room with women's clothes and not a single men's clothes, grabbed the newspaper and teased, "Well, based on these photos, it looks like the real chemistry is between the non-engaged people."

Aarav burst out laughing, and Yash shot him a glare. But as the tension built up, Anita standing behind Yash noticed that Vanya wasn't even looking at the newspaper. Instead, she was focused on Yash, smiling at his reaction.

Savitriji, not missing a beat, added, "There are two young men in this house. Even if you're like a sister to them, I expect you to know your limits as there is marriage in the house soon and people will be around." And continued in firm voice,"I don't want any gossips "

While Aarav, whispering to Yash with a grin, murmured, "I'm not interested in this girl. Are you, Mr. Engaged Man?"

Yash kicked Aarav again under the table, but his mind flashed back to the night and morning he and Vanya spent together.

Vanya, not rattled by the tension, met Savitriji's gaze and confidently said, "Don't worry, I know my limits."

Yash, still smiling into his soup, quietly muttered under his breath, "Liar."
