The following day, Vanya and the other trainees stood rigidly in front of a fortified steel door, its imposing security measures a reminder of the seriousness of their training. As they waited, the senior bodyguard stepped forward, his expression stern. "Raj, your instructor, will no longer be with us going forward. He had some urgent matters to attend to. Today, you'll be issued weapons for practice. Use them wisely."
Vanya's mind raced. Where had Raj gone? She had last seen him after Test 1, and now he had vanished without a trace. As the heavy metal door slowly creaked open, revealing the weapon room, a wave of unease washed over her.
The senior guard began distributing the weapons, his voice echoing in the room. "These are licensed weapons. Do not lose them. Take your assigned guns, bullets, and knives."Vanya's eyes darted around the room, taking in the arsenal. She only knew how to handle a knife; the rest of the weapons were foreign to her.
As the trainees were instructed to holster their guns and conceal their knives, Vanya discreetly secured three knives-one at her ankle, another at her waist, and a small one hidden within the bandages wrapped around her chest secretly. As they exited the room, the senior guard announced, "The date for Test 2 is yet to be decided. However, today we have a Pooja at the temple for our CEO's upcoming marriage. We need to ensure the security of the Singhania family and the guests from his fiancée's side."
Vanya remained expressionless, but internally, a storm raged. She needed answers, and soon. But amidst the chaos of her thoughts, one feeling stood out-she couldn't bear the idea of Yash getting married.
Vanya and the other trainees stood beside the cars, waiting for the Singhania family to emerge. As the family members descended the steps, Vanya's eyes instinctively searched for Yash. Her gaze swept over the Singhania family until Aarav and Avni approached the car she was guarding.
Avni slipped inside the vehicle, while Aarav paused near Vanya, whispering with a smirk, "Stop wasting your time looking for my brother and start the car."Vanya shot him a sharp glare, but Aarav dismissed her reaction with a casual shrug as he got into the car. Vanya, still fuming, was about to open the passenger door when she heard a familiar voice.
"Ok! Reyansh you can join us at dinner.About Ishaan ,he had an urgent meeting, and Vivaan is tied up with military duties. They couldn't make it."Vanya turned, and there he was-Yash, looking effortlessly handsome in traditional Indian attire and was on the call. His eyes locked onto hers, and she noticed his car was parked right in front of hers.
Instead of heading straight to his car, Yash decided to cross her path, making his way toward Vanya's car.Her heart skipped a beat, and without thinking, she quickly slipped into the passenger seat, trying to avoid any interaction. Yash noticed her hurried movement and couldn't help but chuckle silently.
