Vanya emerged from the storage room, her disguise complete with a beard and turban. But as she starts walking out of the temple, she froze, her eyes widening at the sight of blood and lifeless bodies. Before she could process it, Yash appeared beside her, firmly grasping her hand, guiding her away from the horrifying scene.
As they descended the steps of the temple, Vanya, conscious of their surroundings, subtly tried to pull her hand from Yash's grip.Noticing her hesitation, Yash's expression hardened. Without a word, he intertwined his fingers with hers, holding her hand even tighter, leaving no room for escape.
When they reached the car, Yash opened the passenger door for Vanya and, with a stern look, made sure she got inside before he walked around to the driver's seat.Vanya sat silently, her thoughts racing. Nothing will ever be the same between us, she thought, glancing at Yash, who was now settling into his seat. Almost to herself, she murmured, "I should have hit him with furniture instead of kissing him."
Yash felt her gaze on him and turned to look at her, his eyes searching hers. "Kuch bolna hai tumhe?" ,(Do you want to say something?)he asked, his voice low but demanding.Vanya quickly shook her head and turned to stare out the window, avoiding his piercing gaze. Yash, observing her, noticed she hadn't fastened her seatbelt-again.
Yash moved closer to Vanya, his hand reaching for the seatbelt. His sudden proximity startled her, making her instinctively cover her mouth, fearing he might kiss her again. Yash noticed her reaction and frowned, his voice laced with disappointment. "Pehle toh khud kiss karti ho, aur ab khud hi victim role play karti ho."(You the one who kissed first and now you are playing the role of victim)
Vanya's eyes widened at his remark, and she removed her hand from her mouth, anger flaring up. "Mujhe furniture se marna tha apko, kiss galti se ho gayaaaa," (I should have hit you with furniture, the was a faul_____)
Yash didn't let her finish. He closed the distance between them, holding her wrists firmly as he leaned in, his breath warm against her lips. "Say one more time that our first intimate moment was a fault, I dare you right here, right now," he whispered, his tone daring and intense.
Vanya glared at him, defiant. "You think I get scared of you? It was just a kiss," she snapped.Yash, his lips hovering dangerously close to hers, responded in a low, controlled voice, "It was not just a kiss. It was your first kiss."
Vanya's eyes widened in shock. She pushed him back to his seat, her face flushed with both anger and embarrassment. "It was not my first kiss. I've kissed a lot of men," she lied, her voice wavering slightly.
Yash watched her closely, a small, knowing smile playing on his lips as he started the engine. "Nice try, but when I do background checks, I go deep," he said, throwing a wink in her direction. Vanya huffed in frustration, turning her gaze out the window to avoid his teasing. As Vanya looked outside the window, she saw Tanya's father with the gardener she met other day talking near a tree outside the Temple.
Vanya found it odd as all family members were rescued but Tanya's Father was still outside the temple. As she was going to turn around to Yash to tell him about Tanya's presence,Yash drove the car in high speed making Vanya concentration shifting to High speed car .
As Yash drove, his phone rang, and he answered the call, putting it on speaker. "Hello, brother! What's your dead body count?" Aarav's voice came through, casual and joking.
Vanya's eyes darted to Yash, who sighed in exasperation. "Didn't count," he replied, clearly not in the mood.
Aarav chuckled. "That's boring. Well, congratulations!"
"Why?" Yash asked, his voice tinged with suspicion.
"You're getting a bedroom partner in the next few days," Aarav said, his tone gleeful.
Yash slammed on the brakes, the car jerking to a sudden stop. Vanya felt the jolt and looked at Yash, her heart pounding. "What the hell are you talking about?" Yash demanded.
Avni's voice chimed in as she took Aarav's phone. "Bhai, bas ane wale dino main apki shaadi hai ."(Bhai, in the coming days you are going to get married)Vanya's heart sank as she listened to their conversation.
She didn't want to show her sadness, so she quietly unlocked the car door, intending to slip away unnoticed. But before she could, Yash's hand shot out, gripping her wrist firmly. He looked at her, his expression unreadable, silently urging her to stay in the car.
Avni's voice broke the silence. "Bhai, are you listening?"
Yash finally let go of Vanya's wrist, his attention back on the call. "Give the phone to Aarav," he said, his tone commanding.
When Aarav took the phone, Yash's voice was sharp with irritation. "What nonsense is going on in the mansion? Can't everyone sit quietly? We just went through an attack."
Aarav, unperturbed, replied, "Well, the attack was your plan that backfired. And the idea of getting married fast was Dadi's and your future mother-in-law's." He added, with a smirk in his voice, "I must say, your mother-in-law is quite a coward. She's crying more than Dadi after seeing one dead body."
Yash sighed heavily, frustration evident. "I'm coming to the mansion. Just handle things until I get there."
Aarav's tone was teasing as he continued, "Yeah, please come... I think Tanya's saree is also getting hotter by the minute."
Yash rolled his eyes, his tone sarcastic as he replied, "Throw a blanket on her. I don't want a strip club when I walk in."
Aarav laughed, "Nah, I need some entertainment. Anyway, Reyansh called, saying he needs to talk to us five after the dinner party."
Yash knew what Aarav was hinting at-their mafia gang, the Silver Circle. Before Aarav could say more, Yash cut him off, "Coming in a few minutes," and ended the call.He looked at Vanya, but she jerked her hand away, her expression cold.
"Drive. I need to wash myself. I can still feel the disgusting touch," she said, her voice laced with bitterness.Yash's heart clenched, knowing she wasn't just referring to the intruder's touch, but his as well. Anger and frustration surged through him as he started the car.
As they neared the mansion, Vanya suddenly said, "Stop the car."Yash complied, and Vanya stepped out, walking briskly towards the mansion. He didn't try to stop her; his own anger simmered just below the surface. He sped past her, but his eyes never left her in the rearview mirror until she was out of sight.
As he reached the mansion gate, he instructed the guard, "Let a Sikh boy in trainee attire enter. Don't ask questions. He's tired already."The guard saluted, and Yash drove inside. Vanya arrived shortly after, and before she could speak, the guard let her in without question.
