I asked angrily, "Are you here to molest me with your eyes?"He stepped closer, and I felt his breath against my forehead as he said, "Molestation doesn't need eyes. It needs body, hands, legs, and... dot, dot, dot." My eyes widened at the ellipsis, but all I could focus on was the thick veins in his long neck and the sweetish citrus scent of his cologne.

I instinctively moved back, trying to distance myself from the intoxicating fragrance. As I retreated, he pulled me by my waist, saying, "Careful, you're surrounded not only by roses but also by thorns."I looked into his eyes, which seemed to calm the chaos within me. Before I could show any vulnerability, I pushed him away, retorting, "Thorns can be plucked out; they're just sources of physical pain."

He gazed at me, slipping his hands into his pockets. "Then how do you heal unseen pain?"I met his gaze and replied, "Either you forget it or start living with it."He stood still, hands still in his pockets, and asked, "Okay, which one do you choose?"I saw through his probing and chose to walk away from the rose walk.

But he stopped me, saying, "Don't go around hugging men. A man knows how a male body feels and how a female body feels."I halted at his words and turned around, saying, "We won, that's why we celebrated. I didn't realize we needed the CEO's permission to enjoy happiness in this mansion."

He approached me, but this time, I stood my ground. With a heavy sigh, he said, "Never ask for permission to smile. Happiness is the essence of freedom."As he looked into my eyes, I stood in the midst of the rose walk, pondering what might have been if that letter hadn't arrived, or if my brother were with me today. Would I still have met this man?, surrounded by roses, His presence calms the chaos within me without even touching me.

I heard footsteps and began to leave the rose walk. He didn't say anything or stop me. As I looked back, I saw him walking away from me, heading back into the mansion. The scene felt like we were too close yet too far apart, as if he had many bricks to build grand houses and I had too few to build even one properly.

As I exited the rose walk, I felt something in both of my side pockets. I reached inside and discovered rolled bandages. I murmured to myself, "He wanted to put these bandages in my pocket; that's why he kept getting so close." I turned around to look for him, but he was gone.

Why did he always make me feel like a bad person when I was only here seeking answers? Even though his eyes seemed to plead with me to trust him but I couldn't bring myself to ask him anything.I went back to my room and changed. My phone rang-it was Swati bhabhi.

I answered, "Hi bhabhi, thank God you're available. I've missed you so much."I heard faint cries on the other end.

"Hello, bhabhi?" I asked again.

Yashraj's voice came through. "Hello, Yashu. kya hua ,kyun ro rhe?"
(hello Yashu.baby what happened ,why are you crying ?"

Yashraj responded, " Yaad aa rhi hai apki, Kahan ho app?"(I miss you. Where are you?")
