Yash and Aarav walked into Aarav's hospital room, the faint scent of antiseptic hanging in the air. The atmosphere inside felt quieter than the chaos that had engulfed Yash's day, and it offered a brief respite from the whirlwind of events that had left him mentally drained. Aarav moved to his desk, dropping into the chair, while Yash sank into the sofa, letting out a deep breath.

Yash tugged off his coat and tossed it carelessly over the arm of the sofa, loosening his tie with an impatient yank. His head leaned back, eyes closing as he tried to shut out the flood of thoughts that threatened to overwhelm him. The gunfight at the temple, the sudden attack on his family, and the unsettling news of his impending marriage all swirled in his mind like a relentless storm. His fight with his grandmother echoed in his ears, and then there was the unnerving way his father had looked at Aman earlier-like he knew something Yash didn't. Nothing seemed to make sense anymore.

Amidst the chaos, one memory floated to the surface-the one moment of clarity he had experienced this morning. His mind drifted back to the small, dimly storage room in the temple, where Vanya had pecked her lips against his. A faint smile tugged at the corners of Yash's mouth as he felt her presence linger, her kiss still fresh on his lips. For a moment, everything else faded away-the noise, the complications, the confusion-leaving only the warmth of that stolen moment.

Aarav, buried in patient reports at his desk, noticed the sudden change in Yash's expression. He raised his head, curiosity flickering in his eyes as he saw his brother with his eyes closed, lips curved in an uncharacteristic smile.

With a sly grin of his own, again looked down at his patient's report, "Tanya or Vanya?" he asked casually, his tone laced with amusement.

Yash's eyes snapped open, the warmth from the memory quickly replaced by a flash of irritation. Aarav didn't look up from the files, still turning pages as though his question hadn't been a loaded one.

"Neither," Yash replied, his voice sharp and clipped.

Aarav smirked, enjoying the game he was playing. "My money's on the Banarasi girl" he continued, the teasing glint in his eyes clear even as he kept his gaze on the report. "But the Mumbai one is definitely hot."
