Mine

They apparated to the hospital, Sebastian and Iris were holding hands. Poppy saw them walking in the hall and rushed to them.

She spared a quick glance at Iris and Sebastian holding hands, but none of them cared about that kind of thing right now.

"Ok, he is pretty tired, they worked him over really well. I need your word that if it gets to be too much you won't push him, ok?" Poppy said, focusing in more on Sebastian than anyone. They all nodded and followed her into the room.

Iris winced seeing him, he had bandages all over and over half of his face. Poppy wasn't exaggerating. Amit looked up at them, gave Iris and Ominis a small smile and looked at Sebastian with....sadness? He was definitely nervous. Poppy sat on the bed next to him and held his hand.

"What I have to say pertains to Sebastian, so probably best if you two wait outside, he can tell you what he wants" Amit said.

Ominis put his hand on Sebastian's shoulder and Iris resumed holding his hand. "Whatever you say to me, they can hear" Sebastian gritted out. He seemed angry, but she was beginning to learn that was just his default emotion.

"Um ok....you three have always been so....how do I put it? Close? Odd?" Amit observed. Poppy couldn't hold in a snort.

The trio didn't feel like discussing anything at the moment about their relationship and were inpatient so they didn't say anything.

"Right, ok. Well they grabbed me before dawn, they tied me up and left me alone for a while. While they were outside, I heard them talking about me. A woman was asking them if they could confirm that I was "the boy she has been searching for". They said they thought I was, because they had observed me with Iris and Ominis at times. She was unsure because I didn't put up much of a fight. I knew they got the wrong person, because of course I don't fight!" Amit was telling us slowly...and Sebastian was growing inpatient.

"Ok, what's the point that it matters to me exactly?", Sebastian spit out, and got a fierce glare from Poppy.

Even Amit was annoyed, "well shortly after that, they tortured me for hours asking about you three. They figured out pretty quickly I wasn't who they were searching for. They were looking for someone who had strong magic, particularly dark magic....who knew someone with ancient magic....." Amit paused.

"Please Amit, we need to know" Iris pleaded.

To his credit, Amit looked Sebastian straight in the eye, and finished with, "and someone who had a cursed twin who died. They have been looking for this someone for years".

All the color had drained from Sebastian's face, Ominis sucked in a shocked breath, and Iris felt panic brewing under her skin. The reports from the ministry.....the twin ones weren't confirmed, only rumors. Shit, she needed to tell them.

"The ministry has heard rumors that they are looking for twins. No confirmation, and they are digging for more information". Iris told the group, both Sebastian and Ominis whipped their heads around to her in shock. She should have told them....so much had happened the last two days that she forgot to bring it up.

"Iris..." Ominis began to admonish her, she held up her hand.

"I know, completely my fault. That's what I was working on when I stayed late a couple nights ago. I apologize".

Everyone's eyes settled uncomfortably on Sebastian now. He was still in shock, Iris knew the explosion was probably coming. He let go of her hand.

Ominis broke the silence by thanking Amit for telling them and apologizing that he got so hurt.

"I heard something else, from bit and pieces of things I heard, they have been cursing children to draw Sebastian out." Amit keenly observed.

Iris felt the energy in the room shift significantly. Ominis and Iris were feeling very protective, and Sebastian was shaking with anger now.
