Mistakes

Ominis POV

After they finished lunch, they didn't get much further into their weekend day, because there was a loud knock at the door. He couldn't help but cringe, the last few times there was loud knocks on their door, it wasn't welcome intrusions.

Sebastian had opened up the door, he was also tense. It was Poppy, which would usually be a welcome event. She sounded panicked though, so Ominis was thinking that this wasn't going to be a happy visit. He owed her though, so anything she needed.

"Iris!! Amit hasn't come back home. He was stargazing for his newest book, and he hasn't returned. He never stays out once the sun is up, I gave it a little while though in case he fell asleep while out there. When he does that though, he sends an owl so I dont worry. He is so thoughtful, he wouldn't just not come home!"

Ominis hadn't realized that they were living together now, he needed to be a better friend....

"Slow down Poppy, where was he?" Sebastian asked.

"No, she is right, he never, ever stays out this late, and he always owls. He is in danger. Show me where he was". Iris said, grabbing Poppy's hand.

Before any of them in the room understood what happened, Iris and Poppy apparated out of the room.

"What the fuck. I'm going to kill him, then Iris" Sebastian said.

"I'm going to lock her away so she can never leave" Ominis said.

"Ooooh, I like that one Ominis, let's do that one" Sebastian agreed.

Natty and Nox just exchanged glances like they were glad they weren't Iris right now.

Ominis did owe Poppy, so he was more than willing to help, but he was upset that she would leave without talking to either of them. Plus, he knew nothing about where to go stargazing...being blind and all that. He felt pretty useless at the moment.

Sebastian grabbed his hand, "don't worry, let's go find our girl; I know a few places they could have gone."

They were on their third location that they apparated to, when they came across a small battle happening. Ominis could see Iris immediately because he could see her blue lit up very brightly throughout her body.

He wasn't someone who was quick to anger, but he was pissed. He trusted her, but it had taken them almost an hour to get here and there was still fighting happening. He heard Sebastian swearing loudly next to him and he had to agree.

They both walked into the battle and in front of Iris, and unleashed their aggression. Neither one of them were subtle fighters, and they had recently fought together in a battle, so they were getting in a flow easily. Ominis would levitate three people at once and Sebastian would blast them all with all of his favorite fire spells. He heard Iris behind him say something about not needing their help, and he turned and sneered at her.

"Don't you even start with us Iris." He growled. Iris looked startled, he hadn't been cross with her since all the way back in 5th year. He was so gentle with her, but she needed to not put herself in danger when they were right there to help!

Iris didn't get the chance to finish off the wizards, Ominis and Sebastian did. Iris went over to Poppy who was holding Amit. He heard Sebastian growling next to him, he looked at him with an eyebrow cocked questionably.

"She is petting his head". Sebastian said shortly.

"This fucking guy...." Ominis retorted.

They walked over and Ominis felt himself soften by how upset Poppy was. She was holding him and saying sweet things to him. He was breathing, but not conscious.
