Sebastian POV

After a particularly heated make-out session, Sebastian was going insane. They had the Undercroft, but it wasn't particularly comfortable and they felt weird asking Iris to conjure a bed for them. They had overheard her and Poppy talking very detailed about sex, and they were both uncomfortable bringing anything up about it to her now. He wanted to be with Ominis completely, to make him his. Scratch that, he needed him. Their dorm was not private and their roommates were homophobic knobs anyway. He personally wanted them to catch him fucking Ominis, but that was just him. His gentlemanly partner would be mortified.

Ominis was slowly beginning to trust him again. He knew that Ominis needed trust in order to be that sexually vulnerable with him, which he understood. He was struggling though. He was horny and pent up, wished he wasn't in school, but somewhere comfortable and quiet. Beyond frustrated with not being able to help his sister. He had almost snuck back into the restricted section yesterday. He knew he promised Ominis that they help Anne together, but Anne's curse came from the dark arts. Anything related to the dark arts was a non starter with Ominis. Also, he saw the heartbreak in Ominis' eyes
when he talked about Anne. He didn't want to talk to Ominis about it, didn't want to be that emotionally vulnerable or see his pain. He was a coward, and he knew it.

Anne wanted him to stay happy, wanted him to stop searching so she could......NO. He couldn't even think about it, his chest started burning. The only thing he could think of was to ask Iris again. He was smart enough to at least let Ominis be there for that. He just had to do something, so he sent an owl to them to meet him in the Undercroft.

Iris and Ominous had a bad feeling when they both got an owl when they were walking together in the hall. Iris saw as his entire body language change, like he was getting ready for an emotional battle. He was most likely correct, it always shocked her how this reserved and cautious human being was able to go toe to toe with Sebastian's chaos. Ominis treated her with utmost tenderness and kindness, from a curious standpoint, she was quite interested in how Ominis would handle this encounter.

They walked in to Sebastian's signature pacing and nervous energy. Ominis held his hand out in front of him, signaling he would like Iris to start. Iris agreed, so she said, "what would you like to discuss with both of us, Sebastian?".

He turned to her, his eyes hinting at the frantic energy bubbling up inside him. He tried to take a deep, calming breath and began pleading his case.

"I want you both here because I promised I wouldn't try anything without you two. I know not to explore anymore dark arts, and we sure as hell know the healers aren't doing shit. I was thinking though, we do know of a pure source of power that is wielded by someone we trust. What would be so bad about that?", he hinted.

Iris began shaking slightly, she knew now what he was hinting at. She had told him before and thought they had put this to rest, but apparently not. She didn't answer, so Ominis spoke.

"I am assuming you are referring to Iris' magic? I have never seen it in action, as you have, but I trust Iris. She told you before, that it wouldn't work.", he argued.

Sebastian stepped forward, he knew he had to keep trying, "actually, she didn't say it wouldn't work. She said it wasn't a good idea. I would like to know why". Ominis was quiet, pondering his response. He started to talk, Iris knew it was to defend her, but she interrupted.

She internally calmed herself and started going numb. This is what she always did around her family, she would switch to numb logic and not react to the insults. "Sebastian, I told you that it wouldn't be a good idea, and I thought you would trust me on that. My power probably could take the curse away, but you wouldn't have your Anne back. She would just be alive, but without her essence".
