Chapter 1: Weird feeling

*Gale's POV*

Hellooooo!!!! I'm Angelica Gale Sanchez, Gale na lang. Sweet girl ako, may pagka masiyahin din. Hihi! Ngayon, may contest ako, singing contest. Gosh! This is my first time attending! Di man lang hinintay kung papayag ba ako o hindi! Pero...that's fine, kahit pangit boses ko, try ko pa rin.

Nagsoot ako ng white dress na may mga beads and sequence at black doll shoes at nagbraids ako ng parang kay Elsa ng Frozen.

I also applied light makeup and lipstick for me to be more beautiful. Hindi naman ako mahilig dito, pero when it comes to events, I'm fine with light only.

"Honey? Are you ready? Naku! Manonood kami ng daddy mo. Galingan mo, anak." Sabi ng mama ko.

"Mom, I don't know what to do. I'm not even good with it, plus, it's my first time attending one."

Hinimas naman ako ng mama ko sa likod at nginitian ako. Dumating din naman yung loving father ko at hinalikan ako sa pisngi.

"Good luck, my princess. Mahal na mahal ka namin! Lagi mong tatandaan na we support you."

Sobrang saya ko cause they're here for me. I walk towards the car and played music through my headphones.

Nasa venue na kami and OMG! Ang gagaling nila!

Sampu kami at lima lang ang mapipili. Mabuti pang-10 ako at nagpapasalamat ako dahil doon.

Nagsikanta na sila at yeah, ang gaganda ng mga boses nila.

Nang ako na ang tinawag, nagpunta ako sa stage at ipinakilala ko ang sarili ko.

"Hello, good morning everyone! I'm Angelica Gale Sanchez, just call me Gale. I'm 17-years-old and the song that I'm going to sing is A Million Dreams by The Greatest Showman."

I've finished singing and while I'm singing earlier, I feel myself relaxed and I made everyone silent. After that, they all shouted in unison which made my ears hurt.

I can see na natuwa yung mga tao sa performance ko at nagpasalamat ako sa microphone sabay nakangiting bumaba sa stage.

Nagdala pa pala ng balloon banner sina mama at papa at ikinaway-kaway 'yon sa harap ko.

"Anak! Ang galing mo talaga!" Nagtatatalong sabi ni Mom.

"You did a great job, princess." Nakangiting sabi ni papa at hinalikan ako sa pisngi.

"Tita Loren! Tito Oliver! Sabi ko na eh! Ang galing ng beshie ko!" Sigaw naman ng bakla kong kaibigan na si Kendrick. My mom and dad laughed at his funny atitude.

Bago ko nga pala ipagpatuloy, isang instrument player si papa ng isang Orchestra at ang pineplay niya ay Flute. Si mama naman ay kasali sa mga bands kaya RK din ako, hindi naman sa pagmamayabang.
