HARD AND SOFT THINGS

2012

‘Women loves what men have’ I still don’t get what Sander mean… “MOM! DAD! I AM HOME!”

“So how’s school?” Percy asked.

“It was weird.”

“Why?” Mom joined and asked while she’s in the kitchen, “My boys, Dinner is ready!” She added.

“Nothing. Mom, Dad I’ll just go to my room instead. I am a bit tired and exhausted.”

“But your Mom prepared your favorite…” Percy exclaimed.

“Maybe later, Dad.”

“Sure. Rest for a while, but be sure to eat dinner okay?” Loree consented.

“Yes Mom.”

In His Room

“Oh God! Today was really exhausting! I screwed up my practice a while ago, I learned that Julieanne is a Princess, Butch was actually fate, history was changed, and now I am delegated with a task to fix these! Could this day get any better?”

There I just lie down and stared at the book that fate, I mean Butch, gave me. I wonder what Julieanne is up to right now?

“Oh! She is writing something!” Elmo said upon opening the book “Sir Elmo, thou art there?” Elmo read “… I just find it inconvenient to be with someone I do not know.”

Oh no! Butch was right! Julieanne was facing a dilemma right now!

Sir Elmo wrote back! Oh how jolly it is to be with my new friend again. “ Sorry for my tardiness. I just arrived home. You seem troubled, what happened? :/” Julieanne silently read.

Should I tell her that I already know she’s a Princess? Maybe some other time, I might compromise the task that Butch had given me. Oh! She’s writing something “Sir Elmo, what art thou going to do if thy art betrothed to someone thy heart does not desire but thy Father requires for the good of all?” Elmo read.

Wow! That was a really weird sentence!

He answered! I hope he could give me some advice. Julieanne wished and read “Uhm, you are betrothed? Was that really the custom in your place?”

“Shoot! I shouldn’t ask that! I better change it… What?! I can’t erase it!”

___

“It was the custom of our ancestors long before but after my Father married my Mother, she influenced him greatly that he was moved by her principles and decided to be more liberal. However, it seems that it is hard to change what we used to.” Julieanne explained.

“I see. But do you really love or at least have the possibility to accept the person whom you are betrothed to?” Elmo asked.

“No, not at all.”

“Oh, then why don’t you tell your Father?”

“I already told him but….” Julieanne cut the sentence ‘should I tell Sir Elmo?”

 “But?” Elmo asked.

“Sir Elmo, there is something that you should know. I am a Princess, that is why I can’t easily convince my Father to sever his agreement with the other kingdom for he is our King.”
