SECRETS AND GOSSIPS
“Pleasant Morning to everyone.” Julie introduced “I am Julieanne St. John, I am pleased to be part of your lectures and learn new things.” She added.
“I like her accent.” A male student utters.
“Yeah me too! And she’s beautiful.” Another commented.
“I can’t believe that she is Elmo’s girlfriend.” Another student blurted.
“She’s faking it.” A female student whispered.
“Hey! Don’t be rude!” Elmo scolded.
Then a lot of whispers followed… Why are they picking on Sir Elmo? Julianne thought.
“Dude! What did you just say to my girlfriend?” The bully interrupted Elmo.
“I am just telling her not to be rude on Julie.” Elmo answered.
“Alright quit it you two.” Mrs. Paliza ordered, “Julieanne you can take that sit beside Elmo.” She added.
“Pleasure Madam.” Julieanne thanked.
Elmo is frowning again…
“Are you alright?” Julie asked.
He gave me a faint smile “Yes… I am fine, don’t worry.” Elmo answered.
Elmo’s POV
I can’t believe that I will be ridiculed in front of Julie. This is just too much! I should have told her immediately what “girlfriend” means. I don’t want her to think that I am using her as ‘my girlfriend’ to make my classmates envious.

The lecture started with a rigorous but boring lecture of Ma’am Paliza, it was followed by Dr. Levine then again back to Ma’am Paliza. Honestly, I was not able absorb everything because I am bothered as to how Julie misunderstood the situation she is in right now. I should have told her what ‘girlfriend’ meant!
The lecture seminar today has ended but another one will commence tomorrow. Ever since Dr. Levine came in the university, our department has conducted these lectures. Is it really true that Dr. Levine will be part of our faculty? But why? I mean considering his achievements in the medical field, why would he choose to be here? I even heard that he is wiling to be paid ¼ of his actual teaching fee. This man is truly insane!
At last we are officially dismissed! Students are storming Dr. Levine asking a lot of questions that are not related with the lectures. Well maybe they are just excited to see someone new.
I decided not to join the hype. Julie and I decided and prepared to go home but nature called…
“Urgh… I shouldn’t have drunk that milk. I always forget that I am lactose intolerant.” Elmo said as he washed his face.
“I think you should hurry.” Some one said from behind.
As I looked back in the mirror there, from the reflection, I saw a tall man wearing an all black suit with no face. “SWEET MOTHER OF….” I Screamed.
The man laugh out loud, “Did you piss your pants?” Francesco said as he removed the stocking in his head.
“YOU… YOU… YOU’RE CRUEL! THAT ISN’T FUNNY!”
“Just kidding. It’s been a day now since you’ve discovered who the paradox was and yet there is no development. I just wanted to wake you up and make your move.” Francesco explained.
“But not in that manner!”
“But it was effective. Look how Doe-eyed you are right now.” Francesco laughed, “Julie is here to help you. Make use of her abilities to fix this dilemma with haste. The more we delay things the greater the historical shift will be.”
“Fine… Julie and I will start right away.” Elmo finished prepping up “By the way, do you…” Elmo looked around “He… He is gone?!”
I know this is stupid but I decided to run out of the restroom. Butch may pull out another scary joke! I literally almost wet my pants!
Back in the Room
“Sorry. It took me so long…” Elmo apologized.
Julie smiled “I was able to talk to Sir Francesco a while ago. He told me that we should hurry up in fixing this dilemma.” Julie said.
“He did? But he was also at the restroom with me saying the same thing…”
“Amazing!”
“Yeah, It’s a bit scary though.”
“Uhm, so should we plan our move now?” Julie suggested.
“Good idea. Let’s hurry back home so that we could start our prepare everything.”
Julie nodded “Aren’t you going to bid farewell to the doctor before we leave?”
It was not really my thing but I am ashamed to Julie after she suggested it “Okay wait me here.”
At the Faculty Room
Odd, the door is open. We’re always scolded by the faculty every time this door isn’t close… well maybe because Dr. Levine is still here… wait! I hear whispers…
“Pally, how long will you mourn for your husband’s death! Accept it! Isn’t it that you didn’t like him in the first place?” Adam enquired.
“Yes, I am forced to marry him but… I already fell for him.” Ma’am Paliza answered.
“Can you not see? I am here! Please do not cry anymore!”
“Adam please be honest, am I the reason why you left your Job in the U.S.?”
“Yes. Until now, you are the reason why I am doing these things… Ever since we met, I gave up my love for music just to be with you.”
Sweet Mother of Mercy! Adam Levine and Jane Paliza are acquainted to each other before? Elmo figured out.
