Julie’s POV
Sir Elmo and I decided to proceed to Sir Francesco’s abode to inform him of the progress. We decided to help Sir Adam to make a good impression to Madame Jane. It’s funny to witness how courtship has truly changed all over the years. Gone are the days where the male merely shows all his war medals or being betrothed. Men these days prove themselves as who they are and not on what they are.
“I noticed…” Elmo opened up, “Though your accent remains, you do not use the “thee” “thou” and “thy” too often. It seems that you have quickly adapted to our era.” He added.
“Oh, I haven’t noticed it also. Maybe you’re right.” Julie answered.
“Thou art right.” Elmo playfully said.
Sir Elmo was right, even my language somehow changed since I came here. But to be honest it seems that it is a lot easier for me to speak this way than in our mother tongue. But I find it a bit confusing to realize this fact. Isn’t that I should be able to learn this much longer than we expected?
”Uhm… Julie…” Elmo opened up.
“Yes Sir Elmo?” Julie smiled.
“Ah… you should not be introducing yourself as my girlfriend…” Elmo bent his head.
“Why? What do you mean? I am thy companion. Thou art not considering me as thy friend?” Julie surprisingly asked.
“That’s not what I mean. It’s just that… in our time, Girlfriend stands for something different. It is not what you think it is.” Elmo tried to explain.
“Oh, why what does it mean?”
“It means there is something between us.”
“Well there is a bag between us.”
“No not that. I mean, if you are my girlfriend, it means we are more than friends.”
“Oh, you mean Fiancé?”
“No.”
“Uhm, Confidant?”
“What’s that?”
“Someone you share your secrets with.”
“No not just that. I mean something more…Uhm…” God I can’t say it. Elmo told himself.
“Romantic?” Julie guessed.
“Ye-Yeah.”
“Oh… OH!” Julie realized.
“I am really sorry! I should have told you earlier but I was not given a chance because…”
“It’s alright Sir Elmo” Julie smiled again “thy art honest in educating me things that I completely misunderstand.”
“Thanks…”
“But I think I will still be introducing myself as your girlfriend.”
“Huh? Why?”
“Well, after all there is indeed something between us isn’t it?” Julie winked.
Oh how adorable, Sir Elmo is turning red!
He laughs, “Yeah there is… a bag.” Elmo joked.

Adam’s POV
For almost 10 years I waited for this Jane. I waited, sacrificed, ventured and strived hard just to be with you. Until now I keep on asking myself, I ever I haven’t met you, what life could I be pursuing now? For sure I will not be a doctor but for me, if this is the only way where you could be in my arms, this is the best choice for you are my happiness and joy.
