"Your boy crush was Lan?" Lan Wangji teased as they prepared dinner. Mianmian was recovering from jet lag even though it was only a two hour flight. Wei Wuxian guessed that it was her way of giving the newly weds some personal time.
"I had pneumonia. I lost a chunk of my memory. I had a pass of Cloud Recess with me. So everyone guessed that the family I was with was Lan. As time passed few memories resurfaced, some as flashbacks, some as nightmares and some as dreams. But there have been no names whatsoever," Wei Wuxian confessed.
"What about your own name?" Lan Wangji asked.
"Jiang Fengmian knew my father and in turn me. That's how I ended up with them," Wei Wuxian answered.
Lan Wangji sighed. He hadn't realized that he was holding his breath. "Did that boy crush of yours abuse you?" He asked with shifting eyes that Wei Wuxian didn't notice as he was chopping vegetables.
"He hated that I was becoming part of his family. He didn't want to share his home with me. That rejection hurt me a lot and gave me a lot of insecurities growing up. Wen Qing and Jiang Cheng cured me by their scolding, A'Jie by her pampering and Wen Ning by his devotion," Wei Wuxian recalled fondly.
"I guess you can't blame him that much. When Mianmian said she was going to crash in the guestroom I wasn't too warm about the idea either. I was grateful when you improvised," Lan Wangji confessed.
"You let me in," Wei Wuxian whispered. "Thank you, " he bowed.
"I should have added another clause to the contract. No sorry and thank you between partners. You mess it up, you fix it. You're grateful, just accept it," Lan Wangji declared.
"You don't have to be so magnanimous. What will happen when you're the one who has to thank me?" Wei Wuxian challenged.
"I'll simply fuck you instead, make you see stars and then fuck you all over again," Lan Wangji responded.
"Ji ge, Jie can hear us," Wei Wuxian whispered.
"And this is exactly what she expects to hear," Lan Wangji whispered in his ear, taking his earlobe between his teeth.
"Why do you always have to bite?" Wei Wuxian asked with a pout.
"I like to mark you as my property, 老婆," Lan Wangji teased.
"I should start marking you too," Wei Wuxian challenged.
"I'll proudly carry your mark," Lan Wangji promised, flipping Wei Wuxian around, his back to the kitchen counter, front facing him as he bared his neck. Wei Wuxian came closer and started sucking, making Lan Wangji moan, his hardness pressed against Wei Wuxian's bulge.
"Wangji," Mianmian said as she entered the kitchen and then turned around. The newlyweds separated in a flash.
"Dinner will be served shortly," Wei Wuxian said, recovering first.
"No need. I mean that's what I came to say. The head of cardiology asked me over for a meal. We met at a conference last year," she excused.
"Oh, have fun," Lan Wangji wished as Mianmian left. Wangji then turned to Wuxian whose heart was hammering in his chest. As the door buzzed shut, Lan Wangji turned to his partner. "Should we continue?" He asked.
"Away from knives please," Wei Wuxian requested.
"Knives can be fun, if used correctly," Lan Wangji offered.
"I prefer something less sharp and more on the softer side, "Wei Wuxian requested.
Half an hour later he lay spread eagle on the bed tied with silk ribbons as Lan Wanji had his way with him.
"Ji ge, I already came thrice. Please enter me now," he begged.
"This is me saying Thank You for entering my life, saving me from the drugs, showing me that intimacy can be enjoyable, for making me laugh in a long time, for making me a home where I can invite my relatives. I've only started to thank you, Lan Wangji explained.
Wei Wuxian felt a dull ache in his chest as he welcomed Lan Wangji's gratitude. They barely noticed the buzzing of the door as Mianmian returned home. The moans informed her exactly what was going on and she doubled back asking her colleagues for a place to crash.
Early in the morning just before dawn, Wei Wuxian started to shake. His eyes were closed. His body was covered with cold sweat.
"I am sorry. Please forgive me. Don't. I need you. I love you. Don't send me away. I have no one. I'll die without you. Please. I didn't mean it. It was a mistake. I'm not gay. I'm not into you. I just want to be beside you. Lan Er Gege, don't push me away. I'll never touch you, please. Please," Wei Wuxian begged as tears fell in his sleep.
Lan Wangji was a light sleeper. He tried to wake up Wei Wuxian but to no avail. "You have me A'Xian. You'll always have me," he consoled but as the words left his mouth Lan Wanji stilled.
He spooned Wei Wuxian, showering him with his warmth, skin to skin. When Wei Wuxian started moving against him, Lan Wangji entered him slowly, making love to him into the early morning. As pleasure spread through Wei Wuxian's body his tears dried. He dreamt of a faceless boy kissing him under the shower and that boy was soon replaced by Lan Wangji. When he fluttered his eyes open, Lan Wangji was moving inside him with gentle thrusts, methodically pushing him to his next orgasm.
"Are you somnophilic?" Wei Wuxian asked in a groggy voice.
"You were having a nightmare and weren't waking up. I didn't know how to reach you," Lan Wangji admitted.
"Ahh, the nightmare. It's a recurring one. But you made it good. Towards the end of it, the faceless boy turned into you and I felt accepted," Wei Wuxian admitted.
"I'll admit I want to kill this Lan Er Gege of yours for making you cry even while in my bed. I promise you that if I meet him I'll break all his teeth and cut off his bloody dick," Lan Wangji swore.
"Is that what I said in my dream? I never remembered what I called him before. I'm recalling something new. Maybe because I finally have the guts to accept what I am that I am getting closer to who I am," Wei Wuxian surmised.
"Whatever, whoever you be, you're mine. I'm not letting you go," Lan Wangji murmured.
Wei Wuxian chuckled. "What about the contract?" He asked.
"It's till I win your case. Once that's done I'll tear up the piece of paper and take you on a honeymoon," Lan Wangji whispered against his skin.
"Ji ge, don't make me fall for you. I don't want to come between you and your bunny," Wei Wuxian reminded him.
"I don't owe him any affection. I owed him a home but he's already married now. I didn't want to tell you but that's the truth. There's nothing between us anymore," Lan Wangji said, placing kisses over Wei Wuxian's neck.
"Ji ge, please take me hard. I want to feel you even after you leave for the office," Wei Wuxian begged.
"It's Sunday. I'll be staying in," Lan Wangji reminded.
"I know. I don't want to sit straight all day. Jie understands. Just do me hard," Wei Wuxian begged.
"Don't ask me to stop later," Lan Wangji warned.
"I won't," Wei Wuxian promised.
They left the bed well past eight. They left as in Lan Wangji carried Wei Wuxian to the bath tub, soaking him in warm water and herbs. Only after their breakfast did Mianmian call to inform that she managed to procure a room with a colleague who lived minutes from the hospital and informed that she'll arrive at noon to pick up her luggage.
"Do you think we put her through an embarrassing position?" Wei Wuxian asked.
"No. We behaved as is expected of us. And if she feels embarassed it's her problem." Lan Wangji rebuffed.
Wei Wuxian wrapped his arms around Lan Wangji's neck and dug his face in his shoulder, breathing deeply. His heart thudded with emotion. 'It was a great feeling to be in love,' he thought. B
