“Jiang Cheng, what have you been doing regarding the information leaks in the company?” Jiang Fengmian asked.
“I have been tracing the leaked information first. Since the server breach had been averted by the team so we need to know exactly who leaked the information. All fingers are currently pointing to a Lin Sisi who was let go from the company last week because of her repeated poor performance," Jiang Cheng replied in a monotone.
"Are you deliberately being obtuse or were you always a moron and we didn't realise it?" Madame Yu asked her son.
"I am doing all that is needed to save the company that my brother started by his sweat and blood and that has nothing to do with you," Jiang Cheng retorted to his mother whose eyes flared up in anger at his words.
"You...how dare you call that scum your brother?" She raged.
"Proudly," Jiang Cheng replied.
"San Niang, A'Cheng, let's not fight. A'Cheng, I appreciate your effort but we have to plug the other leaks as well. The information about Wei Wuxian suing us leaked as well as some of his contributions to the company. It's severely affecting our stocks. If this continues there won't be a company left for your brother to come back to," Jiang Fengmien pointed out.
"Oh, but that was Jie. She said that it would give public support to A'Xian if they knew he was the brain behind Jiang Software," Jiang Cheng confessed.
"Sabotaged by my own daughter. Why am I surrounded by nincompoops?" Madame Yu exclaimed.
"Not all are the same San Niang. A'Cheng, you can leave. And if a man named Meng Yao comes in see to it that he's directly brought up. Chairman Wen is sending him over as a legal consultant," Jiang Fengmien revealed.
"I've never heard of him and since when are you close to the Wens? Aren't they our rivals" Jiang Cheng revealed.
"No other lawyer is willing to stand against Hanguangjun. The Jins refused to allow their legal consultant to help us saying that they don't want their reputation tarnished. That's when Chairman Jin called on his own provided..." He broke off.
"Provided what?..." Jiang Cheng demanded.
"We do not participate in the East Suburban Land Deal. I agreed," Jiang Fengmien replied.
"You agreed to let go of a multi-billion dollars international project because of a legal consultant no one has heard of?" Jiang Cheng exclaimed.
"It's something. Yanli and Zixuan had been taking care of the legal side for almost a decade. But she resigned and the Jins refused help. As far as Meng Yao is concerned,he can be trusted. He is the newest Wen Chao's brother-in-law. He used to work for Nie Legal Works. He worked alongside the best lawyers in the country," Jiang Fengmien explained.
"I'll send him up but I don't have to like this," Jiang Cheng replied as he took his leave.

In the server room Xiao Xingchen was busy copying data. "Why are you taking back ups now?" Fu Tian asked.
"It's just some data for regular diagnostics. Who knows if there'll be another attack. It's better to be prepared," he replied.
Fu Tian, a relatively new hire, nodded, taking down mental notes.
Luo Yangyang entered the server room at this point, startling both.
"I'm resigning. Are you with me?" She asked Xiao Xingchen."What are you talking about?" Fu Tian asked.
"Manager Wei hired Hanguangjun. Jiang is finished," she exclaimed.
"How did he manage to do that on a Manager's salary? Also I heard that he claimed to have not received any salary in the last eight years. Then how does he explain the legal fees alone?" Fu Tian argued.
