Sitting on the park bench in the setting September sun, Wei Wuxian took an inventory of his situation. He was thirty years old, and had a degree in Software Engineering from Beijing University. He had founded Jiang Software from scratch in the past eight years and now he has nothing.

He was currently homeless and jobless. If he applied for a job somewhere else Jiang Fengmian was likely to provide a good review. He wasn't sure of Yu Ziyuan however. She has hated him since when he was a child.

He could leave Beijing and go somewhere he wouldn't be recognized, not that many people recognized him to begin with. Wei Wuxian worried about how much blame the Jiangs would put on his shoulder. He didn't trust them.

He wondered who could have been the mastermind behind the attack. They had three competitors, Jins, Wens and of course Y-Tech. The Jins were related to the Jiangs by marriage. Y-Tech was a global company and not one that needed to play such dirty tricks. That left the Wens. 'What did I do to you Wen Xu?' He wondered. None of it made sense.

He took out his phone to call the only friend he had. His phone had only a three percent charge. He needed to find a charging port. He walked out of the park and headed to the familiar bar opposite Jiangs. He never drank but often accompanied his colleagues there.

"Is Wen Ning in?" He asked the bartender.

The bartender looked new and startled at a man in disheveled clothes asking for his boss. He shook his head, taking a closer look.

"The boss isn't in but we have complimentary drinks for you," he offered.

"Is that so?" Wei Wuxian smirked. "Did he tell you what I like as well?" He was amused at his accommodating friend.

"No he didn't but you look like shots could tickle uour spot today," the barman replied.

Wei Wuxian nodded. "Just give your boss a call and tell him that Ying Ge is here. My phones almost dead. By the way do you have a charging port?" He asked.

The barman looked behind him. "It's currently all occupied. I'll let you know when it's available," he replied.

"That's fine man. Just keep the drinks coming as long as your boss is paying... Hehehe," Wei Wuxian enthused till the shot glasses lined before him and he started to drink his blues away.

"Is everything arranged?" The man in the grey suit asked his subordinate.

"When have you known me to be anything less than thorough. He's going to be dead drunk and in your bed tonight. When he wakes up tomorrow you pretend to compensate him by marrying him. Even the government is allowing gay marriages now. The plans full proof." The man's cocky assistant replied.

"I really don't want to do anything without his consent," the boss acquiesced.

"You don't have to do anything to him. Sleep in the same bed, jerk off and smear it over his clothes. He's not a virgin. So he wouldn't know whether you really did him or not if you said you used a condom," the assistant devised.

"You're evil," the Boss complimented.

"And you're pathetic. Why does it have to be this Mo Xuanyu?" The assistant asked.

"He came in to interview me for a college magazine a few years back. That was when I found out that he's the boy my uncle once fostered, the one I drove away. I didn't know that he was gay then but now that I do, I am not letting him escape again," the Boss replied.

"Why don't you simply confess?" The assistant asked.

"I was a fool when I met him for the first time. I was coming to terms with my sexuality and my attempt to keep him safe from me almost got him killed. I don't want to build a relationship on that foundation. So it's everything new for me. New city, new company, even a new name," he declared.

"Why are you in a hurry all of a sudden? For three years you did nothing" The assistant asked.

"Mianmian is coming to town this weekend and she has issued an ultimatum. Either I get into a relationship or she's going to arrange a match for me, with a girl, so that I can patch up with my uncle. I need to act fast," he explained

"You have three days to achieve what you couldn't in three years. Power to you Wangji. May your iron tree finally bloom," his assistant, who is also his best friend, cheered.

"Xue Yang, no need to be so crude. If I can't get him I'll just pretend you're my boyfriend and screw you ten times over," Wangji threatened.

"No problemo. You know I swing both ways but I can't imagine fucking this ice face of yours." Xue Yang winked as they parted ways. Wangji headed to catch his prey.

Unlucky in love? That ain't it. Unlucky in life? Most likely. That's Wei Wuxian for you. Dead parents check. Rejected from a foster home check. Treated like dirt, check. Engaged to a snob, check. Scapegoat in a corporate scam, check. Drunk to his eyeballs, double check.

Lan Wangji approached the man slumped on the bar stool. His plan was working. He had his prey exactly where he wanted him. That was till he turned the stool around. It wasn't Mo Xuanyu at all but the face was just a more matured version of him. He couldn't fault anyone for the mistake but where was his bunny?

He took out his phone and typed a message. He signaled the bartender to stop the free supply of drinks. He felt guilty. Whoever this stranger was had to be taken home.

"Hey, are you alright? You need to go home," Lan Wangji said, slapping his face to keep him awake.

"Wah mo ding (One more drink)", Wei Wuxian slurred.

Lan Wangji shook his head. "No more. Give me your address. I'll book a cab for you," he insisted.

"No home for me. It's the wide-open road," Wei Wuxian slurred back, pouting at Lan Wangji. The mole under his lips inviting him. Just then his phone rang. Lan Wangji noticed that it was his best friend calling.

"Wei, Yangyang, Bunny is not at this bar," Lan Wangji informed.

Whatever Yangyang had to say made Lan Wangji turn pale. "知道了" he replied.

Lan Wangji turned to Wei Wuxian, "Seriously man, where's your home. I have other important things to do. I can't play baby sitter to you right now," he complained.

"Jobless, homeless, future less, I've got nothing now, nothing," Wei Wuxian lamented with a drunken smile.

Someone at the bar whispered, "Isn't that Wei Wuxian, the guy who took the fall for the Jiang data breach?"

"Yeah, he's just a techie but thwt made him the scapegoat. He had been living with them too. Now he's just out on the streets," another replied.

Lan Wangji turned to Wei Wuxian, the gears of his head turning.  "While I waste my time with you the boy of my dreams is fucking my enemy. Apparently I can't even drop you somewhere and be done with it. What should I do with you now?" Lan Wangji challenged.

Wei Wuxian looked at him frowning as anger seeped out of Lan Wangji. "Me, I'm easy. Think about you. Why don't you fuck someone else? You're quite pretty. Anyone would want you," he suggested.

"Great idea". Lan Wangji smirked putting one arm under his knees and picking the man up from his seat.

"Hey hey, whatcha doing? M not gay," Wei Wuxian complained.

"From tonight you are ," Lan Wangji answered coldly.
