"Hanguangjun, I already told you, I do... don't know where he is," Wen Ning stuttered.

Lan Wangji nodded. "Mm. Alcohol please," he requested.

Wen Ning was taken aback. "Are you sure?" He asked again.

Lan Wangji gave a sad smile and nodded.

"Ok. What do you want? Beer or wine?" Wen Ning guessed.

Lan Wangji shook his head once. "Grey Goose," he said.

Wen Nings eyes widened in surprise but he gulped it down and served his customer.

Lan Wangji saw the glass and took a sniff. The spirit seemed to burn his nostril. He had never actively drank since his wedding night, since the day he had been with his A‘Xian.

He knocked down the drink and said, "More."

Wen Ning looked concerned and dialled a number on his phone. Then he poured another drink. Before he had the opportunity to place the drink before him, Wangji had already slumped down, his head thumping loudly on the wooden counter.

"Wangji xiong, Wangji xiong,"
Wen Ning called but received no response. He signalled to the bar tender to take over when he dialled his boyfriend.

"A'Sang, I need your help," he pleaded just as Lan Wangji suddenly sat up. He noticed the dtink before him and drank it in one go. "Lan Wangji is drunk," he said over the phone before disconnecting.

When Wangji was on his fourth drink Nie Mingjue rushed in. "Hanguangjun, what are you doing?" He demanded.

"Nie xiong, Lan Wangji slurred.

"Your ex fucked up my life,"he whined.

"Who are you talking about? That weasel Meng Yao?" Nie Mingjue exclaimed.

Lan Wangji nodded his head till his chin touched his chest and he left it there. "Why did you tell him about A'Ying?" He lamented, sobbing like a child.

"I didn't. He may have overhead when you told me. He also served as my assistant briefly," Nie Mingjue reminded.

"I lost both my A'ying and A'xian in one go," he cried.

"Wangji pick yourself up. If you break down like this Wei Wuxian won't come back," Nie Mingjue insisted.

"How will he be back?" Wangji asked.

"First let's get home. Then we'll talk about it," Nie Mingjue insisted.

"Lan Wangji has no home," he declared solemnly.

"Then come to my home. You're drunk. You can't stay here," Nie Mingjue insisted.

"I want to go home to A'Xian," Wangji cried out.

"Yes Wangji, you will," Nie Mingjue coaxed, picking Wangji up over his tall shoulder as if he weighed nothing. If anyone at the bar had anything to say he didn't care. He had to call his childhood friend for help.

“Do you need any help?” Wen Ning asked, coming forward.

“Get lost. You‘re the boy who is spoiling my brother, aren‘t you?” Nie Mingjue bellowed.

“A’Sang courted me,” Wen Ning pointed out.

“Bloody homosexuals,” Nie Mingjue cursed.

“Didn‘t you used to be one?” Wen Ning countered.

Nie Mingjue’s nostrils flared at that comment. ”Call A‘Sang and tell him to be home,“ he bellowed before leaving with Lan Wangji.
