"So, Billie I hear you're a married woman now?"

Billie smiled holding up her left hand showing off her wedding band. I laughed quietly, shaking my head.

We were finally back home and back to our usual routine. as if coming back from a dream reality set in as she of course had work once we got back. which didn't really bother me as I didn't mind it and to be honest, I missed it.

Although I do wish we were back at the cabin, cuddled up by the fire saying sweet nothings in each other's ear.

But here we were at one of her many interviews of the day. they of course asked the usual about the album, tour, and now with us being married they asked about that too. it brought me great joy as she would without a doubt perform the same move by holding up her hand smiling widely.

What a proud wife I was.

I watched with a huge smile on my face as she explained with great pleasure about the wedding and honeymoon of course leaving out the intimate details.

"Well Billie, I think that's all the questions we have for you. thank you for joining us and a huge congratulations on your marriage, I wish you many more happy years together."

The interviewer shook Billie's hand, as she thanked him, then making a b-line towards me.

I giggled as she wrapped her arms around me lifting me up off my feet, spinning us around once.

"I missed you, baby." She groaned as she squeezed me.

"Bil, I was literally ten feet away from you." I laughed adjusting my shirt as she set me down.

"So? I could still miss you." She said in a 'duh' matter.

"Weirdo." I laughed. "Now take me out to lunch I'm starving." I exasperated taking her hand and pulling her towards the exit.

We settled at a small pizza parlor down the street, the cashier welcomed us, I noticed how she had eyes towards Billie. Subtly flirting, making sure their hands brushed against each other when she handed her back her card. I found it funny to be honest.

We found our seats our hands immediately lacing with each other as we talked until our order was ready.

We mostly ate in silence occasionally talking about the interview and such. After some time, I drank all of my soda. Billie offered to refill it for me, I happily thanked her and watched as she took my cup heading to the front counter to ask for a refill.

The same cashier, the one who had flirted with Billie when we got here, decided to get a little brave. before giving her my cup back I seen her quickly write something down on a piece of paper, stopping Billie before she turned around, she slides it towards Billie, which I'm going to assume was her number because why wouldn't it be.

I smiled propping my head up on my hand watching in amusement.
Oh, this is going to be so good. I thought to myself.

I watched as Billie took the piece of paper gave it a glance smile towards the cashier holding up the piece of paper and crumbled it before sliding it back to her on the counter. rolling her eyes as she came back to sit down with me. shaking her head and handing me my cup while doing so.

"What happened baby? she wasn't hot enough to date?" I teased. she deadpanned.

"No actually I'm more looking for a certain woman. you know five foot even, dark brown hair, light brown eyes, beautiful, gorgeous smile, that's married of course. specifically married to someone famous. have you seen her?" she smiled giving me playful eyes. I laughed shaking my head leaning on my elbows on the table.
