Chapter twenty-one: Something bout the way you look

"Oh my god! Were in freaking New York!" I jumped excitedly. Were currently on day 10 of touring and honestly all of the places we've went to absolutely phenomenal but New York? Fucking dream come true and with the city being blanketed in white? I was in heaven.

Billie, Claudia Finneas and I decided to go for a little walk in central park. Claudia and I were ahead of them arms linked to each other.

"I know it's so exciting!" She squealed matching my excitement.

We continued walking admiring the view and all the faces we occasionally passed by.

I shivered as a light breeze flew past us. I brought my coat closer to my body. I've never really seen snow before living in California all my life since I was born and raised all we had was rain and heat. Oh, but the snow it was so beautiful I always wondered what it felt like how it looked in real life granted I've seen it in movies I mean duh but to witness snow falling and being surrounded by it was just a different type of feeling.

I know it might not be a big deal to other people but to me it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

"Halley, come on let's make snow angels!" Claudia said pulling me in the direction of a perfectly untouched area of snow. I laughed lying next to her moving my arms and legs making a snow angel.

Billie laughed taking a couple of pictures of us.

I then got up admiring my sad attempt at a snow angel.

"Awe baby it looks- beautiful?" Billie said questioningly. I scoffed.

"Hey I tried." I laughed.

"I know you did baby." She snaked her arm around me kissing my lips. as stealthy as I could I snuck my arm around smashing a snowball on her head, Claudia had placed in my hand to do so. She pulled away gasping. snow dropping from her beanie.

"Oh, you are so going to get it." She said chasing after me. I laughed screaming and running away. She then caught up grabbing me around my torso making us fall into the snow beneath us. She sat up placing both of her hands on either side of my head, looking down at me smiling.

I placed my hands on her cheeks bringing her in for a kiss.

We were then interrupted with a snowball hitting against Billies' back.

"Yo! save the PDA for the hotel not here!" Finneas yelled laughing. Billie sneakily grabbed a handful of snow throwing it back at her brother.

To say we were just a bunch of kids that day wouldn't even be the best definition for it.

Billie sat in front to the vanity mirror as I helped her put her signature space buns in her hair.

"There you go sweetface all ready for you to just take them out in an hour." I laughed sitting down on the couch.

"They start hurting my head after a while because you tie them too tight."

"Well, I have to make sure they stay secure with you jumping around all over stage."

"Yeah, yeah." she said pulling me on to her lap. I was playing with the bundle of necklaces that adorned her neck.

"I've gotta get me one of these I don't know why I haven't yet." I said mainly playing with her blohsh necklace. she looked down at her necklaces reaching up trying to find the right hook to undo it before placing it on my neck.

"There, now you do." she smiled at me.

"But Billie this is yours." She shrugged.

"I can always get more. besides what better way to get it straight from the seller herself?" She beamed up at me. I smiled rolling my eyes shaking my head leaning down to kiss her.
