It was an ordinary day until it wasn't.
The sky began to darken unusually early, clouds swirling ominously as the wind picked up speed. Gempa, Blaze, and Halilintar stood by the window, watching the once calm afternoon turn into a storm. The house rattled as gusts of wind whipped through the neighborhood, scattering leaves and branches across the yard.
"This doesn't feel right," Halilintar muttered, crossing his arms, his expression grim. He could feel the familiar pull of the storm, but something was different. This wasn't just any storm.
Gempa's brows furrowed in concern. "It's Taufan."
Blaze raised an eyebrow. "Taufan? You mean he's...?"
Before anyone could respond, a loud crash came from outside. The three brothers rushed to the door, yanking it open just in time to see Taufan in the middle of the yard, his wind powers out of control. His eyes were wide with panic as his body hovered slightly above the ground, a tornado-like whirlwind surrounding him.
"Taufan!" Halilintar shouted, his voice barely audible over the howling wind. But Taufan didn't respond. His powers were spiraling, literally, and it was clear that he couldn't control them.
"We have to stop him before he hurts himself or someone else," Gempa said, already stepping out into the storm.
"Yeah, no kidding!" Blaze shouted over the roar of the wind. He could feel the intense pressure in the air, and it wasn't just because of the storm.
Gempa planted his feet firmly on the ground, using his Earth powers to stabilize himself against the force of the wind. He called out to Taufan again, his voice calm but commanding. "Taufan! You have to stop! Focus!"
But Taufan's powers were wild, swirling dangerously. He tried to speak, but his words were lost in the wind, his panic growing as he realized he couldn't get a grip on his abilities. The whirlwind surrounding him intensified, pulling up dirt, leaves, and debris, creating a dangerous cyclone.
Halilintar, not one to back down from a challenge, braced himself and stepped forward, sparks of lightning crackling around him. "I'll get closer. You two back me up."
"Be careful, Hali!" Blaze shouted, his eyes wide as he saw the intensity of the wind surrounding Taufan. But Halilintar was already moving, pushing against the fierce wind, every step deliberate and heavy.
Taufan's panic grew as he saw Halilintar approaching. "Stay... back!" Taufan managed to shout, but the words came out strangled, the wind distorting his voice. He couldn't stop the storm—his powers were completely out of control.
"Like hell, I'm backing off!" Halilintar growled, his lightning flashing brighter. "You're not getting out of this alone, Taufan!"
The winds around Taufan whipped violently, almost as if they were reacting to his emotions. The tornado was growing stronger by the second, pulling everything into its vortex. Halilintar gritted his teeth and pushed forward, the wind cutting at his skin, but he refused to back down. His brother needed him.
Gempa, standing a little farther back, raised his hands and sent a wave of earth toward Taufan, hoping to anchor him down. "I've got you, Taufan. Just hold on!"
The earth wrapped around Taufan's legs, attempting to ground him, but the force of the wind was too strong, and the earth began to crack. Taufan's eyes were filled with fear and frustration—he didn't want to hurt anyone, but he couldn't control it.
Blaze, not one to just stand back, flared up his fire powers, attempting to send a wave of heat toward the cyclone, hoping to weaken the wind with the rising temperature. But the flames were quickly swept up in the gusts, snuffed out before they could do any real damage.
Halilintar was the closest now, almost at the eye of the storm. He could see the fear in Taufan's eyes. "Taufan!" he shouted, his voice rough but filled with determination. "Listen to me! You can control this. You've done it before!"
Taufan shook his head, tears of frustration welling in his eyes. "I can't!" he cried, his voice filled with fear. "I can't stop it, Hali!"
"You can!" Halilintar pushed forward, sparks of lightning surrounding his body. "You're not alone in this! We're all here to help you!"
Gempa's earth was starting to crack under the pressure, and Blaze was running out of ways to keep the fire steady in the storm. But they weren't giving up.
"Taufan, listen to Hali!" Gempa shouted. "Focus on us!"
Halilintar reached out, his hand crackling with electricity. "Grab my hand!" he ordered, his voice firm. "Trust me, Taufan!"
Taufan hesitated, the wind still raging around him, but he looked at his brother, seeing the unwavering determination in Halilintar's eyes. Slowly, he reached out, his hand trembling as it extended toward Halilintar's.
The moment their hands touched, a shock of electricity surged through both of them, but Halilintar held on tight. "I've got you, Taufan," he said, his voice steady. "I've got you."
Taufan's eyes widened as he felt the electricity surge through him, grounding him, calming the storm inside him. Slowly, the winds began to die down, the tornado shrinking until it was just a faint breeze.
Gempa sighed in relief as the earth around Taufan's legs loosened, and Blaze extinguished his remaining flames. The storm was over.
Taufan, exhausted and trembling, collapsed into Halilintar's arms, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "I'm... I'm sorry," he muttered, his voice barely above a whisper.
Halilintar wrapped his arms around his younger brother, holding him tight. "You don't have to apologize, idiot," he said, his voice rough but filled with warmth. "We're here for you, no matter what."
Blaze and Gempa approached, their faces filled with concern but also relief. "That was intense," Blaze said, rubbing the back of his neck. "But we've got your back, Taufan."
Gempa knelt down, placing a hand on Taufan's shoulder. "You're never alone in this, Taufan. We'll always be here to help you."
Taufan, still trembling, nodded weakly, his eyes filled with gratitude. "Thanks... guys."
Halilintar ruffled his hair, a rare soft smile on his face. "Just don't do it again, okay? You nearly gave us all a heart attack."
Taufan chuckled weakly, leaning into his brother's embrace. "I'll try" and slowly conciousness gets faded away.
And as the storm passed, the brothers stood together, knowing that no matter what happened, they would always have each other's backs.
