Young solar:- 5 years old
Young Solar always saw his big brother, Halilintar, as this invincible hero. Hali was fierce, strong, and always seemed to know exactly what he was doing. Solar admired him more than anyone else but also found himself in constant competition with Hali, hoping to someday be seen as strong and capable as him. But there was something about Hali's confidence that Solar just couldn't match, and it frustrated him.
One evening, Solar was having one of those moments—doubting himself. He sat outside on the back steps, gazing at the darkening sky, shoulders slumped. Hali noticed him and wandered over, a rare look of concern on his usually stoic face.
"What're you doing out here alone?" Hali asked, sitting down next to Solar and nudging him with his shoulder.
Solar kept his eyes fixed on the ground. "Nothing... just thinking."
"Thinking, huh?" Hali replied, not missing the gloomy tone in Solar's voice. He ruffled Solar's hair, messing it up. "Well, you're thinking too hard, then."
Solar swatted Hali's hand away, trying to look annoyed but only managing a faint smile. "It's not fair," he mumbled, barely loud enough for Hali to hear.
"Not fair?" Hali echoed, raising an eyebrow. "What's not fair?"
Solar sighed, looking up at Hali with a mix of admiration and frustration. "You're just... so strong. And confident. I feel like no matter what I do, I'll never be as good as you."
Hali blinked, surprised by Solar's confession. He hadn't realized his little brother felt that way. Leaning forward, he draped an arm around Solar's shoulders in a rare display of affection.
"Listen, Solar," Hali said, his tone uncharacteristically gentle. "It's not about being as strong as me or anyone else. Strength isn't just about muscles or powers; it's about how you handle things. You're smart, you know that? Way smarter than I am with all your big ideas and inventions."
Solar looked down, a small smile creeping onto his face. "You really think so?"
"I know so," Hali replied with a smirk. "But don't let it go to your head."
Solar couldn't help but laugh. Hali's teasing felt comforting, like he knew just how to make him feel better. But just as quickly as the laughter came, a thought crept back into Solar's mind. "But... what if I mess up? What if I can't protect everyone?"
Hali's expression softened, and he gave Solar's shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "We're brothers, Solar. We don't have to do everything on our own. If you ever need help, I'll be there. Just like I know you'd be there for me."
Solar stared up at Hali, the feeling of admiration blooming into something deeper—a sense of belonging and safety. For the first time, he realized that being strong didn't mean being alone. It meant having someone you could rely on.
"Thanks, Hali," Solar murmured, leaning against his brother.
They sat in silence for a while, watching the stars come out, both of them feeling a little more at ease.
After a while, Hali spoke up, his tone playful. "Now, are you done with all this gloomy stuff, or do I have to tickle it out of you?"
Solar's eyes widened, and he tried to scoot away. "No, Hali, don't—"
But Hali was already attacking him with a tickling frenzy, grinning as Solar shrieked with laughter, trying to squirm out of his grasp. It wasn't long before Solar was breathless, gasping and giggling uncontrollably.
When he finally stopped, Hali gave him a satisfied look. "See? That's the Solar I know. Tough, a little annoying, but definitely my favorite little brother." ( Taufan:- HEY!)
Solar's cheeks turned pink, but he couldn't stop smiling. "Thanks, Hali... for everything."
Hali just shrugged, pretending to be nonchalant. "Yeah, yeah. Now get to bed before I throw you in there myself."
Solar laughed, knowing that no matter how strong he became, he'd always have Hali by his side.
Solar found himself watching his older brother in a new light. He stood at the edge of the room, a small smile playing on his lips as he remembered that night when he was little—Hali's comforting words, his teasing, and the sense of reassurance that had stayed with Solar ever since. No matter how much time passed, he could still feel Hali's presence like a steady rock beside him.
Across the room, Hali was glaring at Blaze and Taufan, who were, once again, caught up in some prank. Gempa was trying to mediate as Blaze protested with an innocent grin, and Taufan did his best to hold back a laugh. Ice watched lazily from the couch, unbothered, while Duri stood off to the side, quietly giggling at the chaos.
"Oh, you think it's funny?" Hali grumbled, arms crossed, eyebrows drawn in a deep scowl. "Do you know how long it took me to get all the glitter out of my jacket last time? And now you're back at it again?"
Blaze flashed a cheeky grin. "Come on, Hali. You gotta admit, a little sparkle suits you."
Hali's glare only intensified as he crossed his arms tighter. "One more prank, and I'm dragging both of you outside for a 'training session'!"
Solar couldn't hold back a chuckle, and his laugh caught Hali's attention. The older brother's frown softened just a bit, and he looked at Solar with a raised eyebrow.
"What's so funny, huh?" Hali asked, though there was a glint of warmth behind his irritation.
Solar shrugged, trying to keep a straight face. "Just... remembering something."
Hali's gaze lingered on him, his stern expression easing into one of quiet curiosity. "Oh, yeah? Care to share?"
For a moment, Solar considered it. He could tell Hali about that memory, about how his older brother's words had kept him grounded and inspired him to become who he was. But he decided to keep it close to his heart, savoring the memory as something private and precious.
"Eh, maybe another time," Solar replied with a grin, crossing his arms to match Hali's stance in an exaggerated way. "But I will say... maybe I learned the whole 'big brother act' from somewhere."
Hali snorted, rolling his eyes, but a smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. "I don't know if that's supposed to be a compliment or not, but fine. Just don't take it too far, little brother."
Solar chuckled, feeling a warmth in his chest at Hali's words. The room settled down as Blaze and Taufan finally accepted their scolding, both looking only slightly regretful as Gempa talked them down from their mischievous antics. The brothers seemed to calm, with everyone resuming their places around the room, content and comfortable in each other's presence.
But then, Duri, who'd been giggling quietly, suddenly leaned over and whispered to Solar, "You know, Hali didn't look that mad. I think he secretly liked the prank."
Solar smirked, seeing his chance. "You're probably right." Louder, he added, "Hey, Hali, maybe the glitter really does suit you! Just think of it as a new look!"
Hali shot him a warning look, but there was a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Don't you start, Solar, or you're next."
The room erupted in laughter, Hali's grumpiness only adding to the hilarity. And though he scowled at his brothers, Solar could see that soft, almost invisible smile tugging at his big brother's lips. It was the same Hali he'd always looked up to—the one who was always there, no matter what.
