It was a peaceful afternoon when it all went wrong.

Duri was walking across the street, bouncing a bit as he held a small plant in his hand, his face lit up with the kind of joy only he could bring. His mind was preoccupied with thoughts of how beautiful the plant would look in the garden. It had been something he had dreamed of for weeks. His brothers, however, had a different agenda.

Solar walked a few steps behind him, eyes scanning the surroundings, his sharp mind calculating everything. He wasn't paying too much attention to Duri at the moment. "Duri, hurry up," Solar called out, though his tone carried more annoyance than concern. "You've been slow all day. I'm going to miss my perfect study time."

Duri didn't hear him. His attention was locked on the plant in his hands, oblivious to the cars speeding down the road.

"Duri! Wait!" Solar yelled, his voice rising with panic, but it was too late.

Duri, still smiling, stepped onto the crosswalk, unaware of the truck barreling toward him. Solar's eyes widened in horror as he realized what was happening, his body frozen for a split second, and then, instinct kicked in.

"DURI, STOP!"

Solar sprinted, his heart pounding in his chest, but he was too far. Too slow.

The screeching of tires, the thud of impact, and then the deafening silence.

Solar was the first to reach him. His hands trembled uncontrollably as he knelt by Duri's side. "No, no, no,NO!" Solar whispered, shaking his brother's limp form. His mind couldn't process it—this couldn't be real.

Duri was lying on the cold pavement, his body twisted in ways that shouldn't have been possible. Blood mixed with dirt from the road, and his small plant lay broken beside him.

Solar shook him again, his voice desperate. "Duri! Wake up! Duri!"

But the younger brother didn't move.

"Somebody, help!" Solar screamed, his voice raw with panic. The world around him felt like it was falling apart, He couldn't do anything.

The ambulance arrived too late to do anything but stabilize Duri. Solar rode with him to the hospital, clutching Duri's hand the entire way, refusing to let go. His mind raced with guilt, anger, and fear.

"I should've stopped him," Solar murmured to himself, his voice barely audible. "I should've grabbed him... I wasn't fast enough."

His thoughts were broken by the constant beeping of the machines, and he couldn't tear his eyes away from Duri's pale, lifeless face.

When they arrived at the hospital, Halilintar, Blaze, Gempa, Taufan, and Ice were already there, having received the call. They surrounded Solar, their expressions ranging with shock and terrified.

"Where is he?" Halilintar asked, his fists clenched. "Is he okay?"

The doctor emerged from the emergency room, his face grim.

"Your brother... he's in critical condition," the doctor said, his voice somber. "He suffered severe trauma, and we'll need to monitor him closely. He's stable for now, but the next 24 hours are crucial."

Solar felt his legs go weak, and Gempa quickly caught him before he could collapse. "Solar, you need to breathe. You're not alone in this."

Taufan pulled Solar close, squeezing him in a tight hug. "It's not your fault, Solar. It wasn't your fault."
