It was another ordinary school day, and Solar was sitting at his desk, his eyes drifting across the classroom. His focus wasn't on the lesson, though. Instead, his gaze was fixed on the other side of the room, where she sat. A shy smile curled on his lips, his heart fluttering just slightly whenever she looked up and caught his eye. His cheeks warmed, but he quickly averted his gaze, pretending to focus on his notebook instead.

Taufan, sitting beside him, couldn't help but notice his brother's distracted state. He had seen this before, the way Solar would sneak glances at her, trying to hide it behind his usual calm and confident demeanor. Taufan leaned in closer, his mischievous grin spreading across his face.

"Hey, Solar," Taufan whispered, nudging his brother with his elbow. "You've been staring at her for like, the past 10 minutes."

Solar froze, his cheeks flushing a deep shade of red. He quickly snapped his head towards his notebook, scribbling aimlessly on the page as if it would somehow erase his embarrassment. "What are you talking about?" he muttered, trying to play it cool. "I'm just... thinking."

Taufan raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "Thinking, huh? About what? I'm pretty sure that wasn't math you were thinking about." He snickered, enjoying the flustered look on his brother's face.

"I'm not staring at her!" Solar shot back, his voice too defensive to be convincing. "I'm just... uh... looking at the board. Yeah. The board."

Taufan burst into a fit of quiet laughter, drawing the attention of a couple of classmates who shot curious glances in their direction. Solar quickly stiffened, hoping no one had noticed, and began scribbling even faster on his paper, pretending to be busy.

Taufan leaned back in his seat, giving Solar a teasing look. "It's okay, Solar," he said, his voice mockingly sweet. "You like her, don't you?"

Solar's face turned even redder, and he shook his head furiously. "No! I don't!" he protested loudly, but it was clear he was lying. He couldn't look Taufan in the eye. "I don't like anyone," he muttered, his voice almost inaudible.

Taufan just chuckled, unbothered by his brother's denial. "Sure, sure," he said, his grin widening. "You're not fooling me. I see how you look at her. You've got that dreamy look in your eyes. You're totally crushing."

Solar groaned, burying his face in his hands. "Taufan, please," he whined, still trying to act tough. "Don't make a big deal out of it. I don't want anyone knowing."

Taufan leaned closer again, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "It's okay, Solar," he said, his voice softening just a little. "You don't have to hide it. I won't make fun of you. I'll support you, okay? You're my baby brother, and I'm not going to make you feel bad about having a crush. It's totally normal."

Solar hesitated, his heart hammering in his chest. It felt strange, hearing his older brother say that. He had always tried to act tough, to keep his emotions buried deep inside. But here was Taufan, his goofy, carefree older brother, teasing him in the most affectionate way possible. It made him feel... safe.

Solar looked up at Taufan, his eyes softening, but he still tried to keep his expression neutral. "Fine, whatever. But don't tell anyone. I don't want anyone to know. Especially not them." He glanced around the classroom, wary of the potential teasing from their classmates.

Taufan placed a hand on Solar's shoulder, smiling warmly. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone. I promise. You can trust me," he said sincerely.

Solar looked at him for a long moment, his expression softening even further. "Thanks, Taufan," he muttered, his voice quieter now. He appreciated his brother's support more than he realized. "But seriously, I'm not doing anything about it. It's just... just a stupid crush, okay?"

Taufan raised an eyebrow, his grin widening mischievously. "I'm sure. But if you change your mind, I've got your back." He gave Solar a playful nudge. "Besides, it's about time you stop being so serious all the time. Let yourself have a little fun."

Solar sighed, rolling his eyes. "You're impossible, Taufan."

But as the words left his mouth, his heart swelled with warmth. For the first time in a while, he wasn't worried about his tough image. He knew that no matter how much he tried to hide his feelings, his brothers would always be there for him, supporting him through everything—whether it was facing down a bully or dealing with something as simple as a silly crush.

"Yeah, well, you're my little brother," Taufan said with a grin, punching his shoulder lightly. "It's my job to tease you."

Solar chuckled quietly, shaking his head. "I hate you sometimes."

"Love you too, Solar," Taufan replied, his tone softening for a moment. He leaned back in his chair, glancing over at the girl Solar had been eyeing. "She's cute, by the way," he said casually, not wanting to make Solar too uncomfortable but still enjoying the opportunity to tease him a little more.

Solar groaned, his face heating up. "Taufan, stop!" he hissed, but there was a small smile tugging at his lips.

"You know, I'll even help you talk to her if you want. I'll be your wingman," Taufan offered with a wink.

Solar's eyes widened in horror, and he quickly shook his head. "No, absolutely not!" he exclaimed, his face turning bright red. "I'll figure it out myself!"

Taufan burst into laughter, thoroughly enjoying the moment. "Alright, alright, I won't push it. But hey, if you ever change your mind, you know who to ask."

Solar slouched down in his seat, still trying to hide his blush, but he couldn't help the smile that played at the corners of his mouth. Taufan might tease him, but in his heart, Solar knew he'd always have his brother's support. It was just another part of being family. And maybe—just maybe—he wasn't so alone in this after all.

For now, though, he would just let his crush stay as a quiet little secret, tucked away, with only his brother knowing. It didn't matter how small or silly it seemed. With Taufan by his side, he knew everything would be okay.
