Sleepwalking

Jisung had never felt so scared in his entire life. Not when he slipped and fell on his ass in front of the entire audience, and not when he was surrounded by people at the airport and they wouldn't stop crowding him.

It was dark outside, and while Changbin and Chan had stayed extra late at the studio to work on their last track, Jisung went back to the dorms and claimed that they were psychopaths who loved pain and sleep deprivation.

When he entered the dorm, toeing his shoes off with a heavy sigh, he expected for Hyunjin to pop his head out of his room and give him a sweet smile and a "welcome home!" But it was utterly silent.

Jisung took that as a sign to stay silent and not announce his presence as he gently set the keys down on the counter.

Jisung quickly snickered and snapped a picture when he noticed Hyunjin asleep on the couch, curled up and drooling on the pillow. It wasn't unheard of to find him out by the couch, but Jisung knew that if he woke him up now- he wouldn't budge at all.

Instead of trying to drag Hyunjin back to his room because he was tired himself- he just reached over Hyunjin to grab the remote balanced precariously In his loose grip to turn the TV off and slink back to his room and plop down on his bed.

An hour later, his room was pitch black.

Almost too dark for Jisung to make out the shadow that stood next to his bed.

He rolled over on his side with a grunt and then noticed his cracked open door that he had definitely closed when he went to bed.

Then, he noticed the figure looming over him and promptly let out a very unmanly scream as he threw the blanket back and scooted his back against the wall.

"Hello?" He asked, still half asleep as he reached over to flick his lamp on, and when the soft light filled the room-

"-Oh, it's you. Hyunjin, why in the hell are you just watching me like that?"

Instead of answering him, Hyunjin simply swayed on his feet and stared down at him with half lidded eyes. Jisung furrowed his eyebrows and snapped in Hyunjin's face.

"Hello? Earth to Hyunjin?"

Still no reply.

Hyunjin's eyes were still half closed, but staring straight ahead of Jisung like he was seeing through him instead of what was right in front of him.

"Are you asleep?" He asked stupidly, and it wasn't like he had ever expected an answer, so he just continued to talk to himself as he slid out of bed, his blankets falling to the floor. "Yah- are you so exhausted that you're walking around in your sleep?"

He continued to chide Hyunjin as he pushed Hyunjin down the hall and back towards his room to plop him back down onto his own bed.

"Now stay there," he instructed, even if Hyunjin was already snoring. "No more sneaking into my room, you creep."

It was one of the rare nights where they had time off from their schedule to relax and decompress after a harsh comeback.

They were all achy and sore, so it was only natural for them to all collect onto their large sectional couch to play a drama that they had all been meaning to watch.

As expected- Chan, Changbin, and Jisung surrendered to sleep only half an episode in, dark circles pronounced under their eyes because they stayed up late at the studio for too many nights in a row.

"Should we wake them?" Jeongin asked, and after Chan let out a particularly loud snore, Minho shook his head and played the next episode.

"No, just let them sleep."
