Heat stroke

Hyunjin loved most everything about Australia. The scenery was Divine, the animals were cute, Felix and Chan were happy, and the oceans were sparkly enough for him to get good pictures to sketch later. The only downside was that it was freakishly hot, especially during the summer.

The heat here was different than the heat in Korea- because it was heavy in the air and less thin, almost so thick that he could physically see the waves of it.

Chan and Felix immensely enjoyed it, especially running around with their tank tops, shorts, and flip flops on like they couldn't do back at home because modesty was something held at too high of value, in Hyunjin's opinion. In turn, the two Australians hated the cold of the winter since they were so accustomed to the heat, and Hyunjin thought it was a fair trade off.

If only they could all just regulate their body temperatures.

Hyunjin would like to visit the glaciers of Antarctica without freezing to death. Just so that he could paint them.

But it was summertime and Hyunjin was sweating his ass off in Australia because they were filming promotions at two of their members hometown for work before they start their tour.

Their schedule was a jam packed week full of fan meetings and blog filming for the official YouTube account. Since Chan's family home was so large, his mother welcomed to accommodate all of them, and Hyunjin would rather sleep on an air mattress on the floor than an unfamiliar hotel room, if only to see Chan so happy at waking up with his family.

As usual, Hyunjin was the last one to wake up since their schedule didn't demand them to wake up for an early fan meeting- not like yesterday's did. (It was outside and Hyunjin had sweat an embarrassing amount in his white tank top, luckily, Chan was sympathetic and offered him his workout top that was a little loose on him but black so that it hid his sweat stains.)

"Hyunjinnie!" An abrupt voice knocked him away from his peaceful sleep, "wake upppp!"

He simply rolled over, smacked his lips, and bruised himself further into the comforter he and Jisung had been forced to share. The warmth that Jisung offered him was no longer there, telling Hyunjin that he must have woken up a long time ago.

"Should we just leave him?" Another voice asked from above him, "he doesn't need breakfast. We'll save him some."

"Yah- he looks so cute, let's just leave him."

Luckily, in the end, they did let Hyunjin continue to snooze and catch up on his beauty sleep before Chan was shaking him awake with a plate of breakfast in hand. The aroma of eggs and bacon was enough to get Hyunjin to sleepily sit up as Chan just laughed fondly and placed the plate in his lap.

Hyunjin blinked his tired eyes open even more to see the sunlight filtering through the blinds of the empty living room they transformed into he and Jisung's bedroom.

Chan sat at his bedside, nudging the food even further into his lap. "Are you so sleepy that you want me to feed you?"

Hyunjin just hummed sleepily, and he was sure that he looked a mess with his long hair in a bed head swollen face- but luckily he didn't have any wired glasses marks on his face because when he fell asleep reading, Jisung plucked them off of his face for him so that he wouldn't roll over and break them.

Hyunjin finally managed to wake himself up enough to throw on the clothes that Chan found in his suitcase (luckily, clothes that were well fit for the heat) wash his face, and brush his teeth before he was deemed presentable enough to enter the living area where people were already no doubt recording their blogs.

"Look, it's our sleeping beauty!" Changbin pointed his camera directly in Hyunjin's face, poking his puffy cheek. Hyunjin tried his best to give the camera a sleepy smile and wink In which Changbin squealed out a "cute!"
