Jisung

They were on tour, and airports were just about the worst place for Jisung to be. Ever. Period. Their schedule had been jam packed with flight to flight with lots of jet lag and little sleep- they were tossed and turned like mere buoys at the ocean.

These types of schedules required a shit ton of vitamins, sleeping medication, and pain killers. All in the life of an idol, Jisung supposed. He would just have to boost his own anxiety meds momentarily to get through the days.

Hyunjin had a different schedule from them and had to remain three extra days in Japan to do a photoshoot with Versace- so the rest of them flew back to South Korea for a meet and greet until they flew to America. Jisung could only wince in sympathy when he saw Hyunjin's schedule because it meant back to back flights-back for the meet and greet that morning and then leaving the very same afternoon for their America flight.

"Are you sure you'll be fine alone?" Chan asked, like he always did when one of their schedules looked too booked. "If you wish, I can stay with you and we can fly back together?" He offered, because he was the martyr.

"No," Hyunjin had reassured with a tight smile, "I'll be okay, Hyung. I'll get to see the art gallery's, it won't be all too bad."

And Jisung was sure that he was regretting that decision now, when his plane was held over and he missed the meet and greet, barely making it to the airport in time to meet them at security. He hadn't called or texted any of them that morning- so they were all unsure of his condition until they laid eyes on him. (And he did not look okay- with his flushed cheeks under the mask and his heavy lidded eyes. His clothes were less... Versace styled than normal... and more homeless looking. Frustratingly- he could make even a trash bag look good.)

They were currently in a line, packed like sardines to get through the paparazzi and the flashing cameras, but Chan left Minho to watch the back of the line when he saw Hyunjin and pulled him along with them. Now that Jisung got a closer look- he really did look worse for wear. He leaned his weight on Chan and even tumbled slightly as the crowd surged and pushed them.

By now, Jisung would normally be having an anxiety attack and clinging onto either Chan or Minho to calm him down- but now he was too focused on Hyunjin to worry about anything else. Jisung slid in on the other side of Hyunjin to block his vulnerable side while their manager walked alongside Chan- toting Hyunjin's bag with him.

"Hyunjin?" Chan asked, worried, and he could even see the way his eyes creased in concern under his beanie and hood. "Hyunjin? How're you doing? The fans were sad you couldn't make the fan meeting- but they understood."

Normally Hyunjin would have a bubbly response, but he just remained pale as he allowed them to drag him to their boarding area. Luckily- the crowd was starting to thin as security cracked down on them to not enter. Jisung could finally breathe again, and his ribs no longer stitched in his chest.

"Hyunjin?" Chan reached up to place a hand on his forehead, only to pull away with a hiss. He looked to the manager next to him with alarm in his wide eyes. "You let him come to the airport with a fever? He's not even lucid right now." Jisung knew he tried to keep his voice low so that STAY couldn't hear, but it was still audible even to him.
