Vampire sugar baby (7)

"We have an announcement," Chan stated at the dinner table. It had been a year and a half of living with the vampires, and each time this happened- it was all good news. And when Chan stood- Changbin and Jisung standing alongside him- Seungmin looked up at them flatly.

"Which one of you is pregnant?"

Felix spat his drink through his nose and it took a full moment for him to calm down while Hyunjin patted his back to stop the coughing and Chan looked down at them. Unimpressed.

"Yah- be serious," Changbin crossed his arms- grumpy about being ignored by laughter, and Hyunjin nodded in agreement to Seungmin.

"Yeah, vampires can't get pregnant..."

The room grew silent.

"...right? Guys?"

Chan cleared his throat. "Anyway- what I was trying to say was that me, Changbin, and Jisung were invited to stay in Sydney for a month for their music festival... and they want us to perform."

"What?!"

The room immediately broke into rambunctious hollars and laughter as they all circled around the rectangular table to dog pile the three- and Hyunjin even saw Jeongin toss Jisung up like a rag doll in his glee. They were loud and noisy, but Hyunjin still approached Chan to give him an encouraging kiss on the cheek and a sweet smile. "Congratulations," he said, patting onto Chan's meaty shoulder.

Before Chan could reply- Changbin was pulling Hyunjin away to lock their lips together and Hyunjin couldn't help but laugh against his mouth giddily.

Because he knew just how important this was for the production group. The three had worked their asses off to produce songs for other groups as well as for themselves to perform- and while the songs they produced got performed often, never before have 3RACHA actually performed on a big stage. Maybe some underground bar- but never this.

Hyunjin couldn't be prouder.

But at the same time- he also felt himself wilting a little because Australia was far away and in a completely opposite time zone- and a month was a long time. Hyunjin had grown so attached that he honestly would admit that he didn't know if he would last a month without the three. (And would they even last a month without his blood?) they didn't take as much from him anymore as they previously had- but still every once in a while.

"I'm glad I made a good meal tonight," Minho said once they had all sat back down in his seat. Hyunjin liked to sit at the corner nestled between Felix and Jeongin so that he could see everyone. "But you should have told me that we were celebrating and I would have made even more."

"I think this is plenty, Minho," Seungmin stared down at the large spread of food. What time Minho found to cook and run an entire veterinary practice- Hyunjin had no clue. He was like the perfect boyfriend minus the occasional teasing. "I'm already almost full and I've only eaten a plate."

"So when do we leave?" Jeongin asked, practically bouncing from his chair- and the three vampires shared a look. Jisung looked like he wanted to explode then and there on the spot with the way his cheeks were puffed out like a chipmunk- but Chan interrupted him.
