Once they got home they split up and headed to different rooms and wrapped up the gifts before putting them away in the attic. "There! Our gifts are wrapped and put up." Kara said. "Yea...I've just got one more thing coming for you..that I couldn't find at the mall." Lena said. Kara's eyebrows shot up as she looked at her girlfriend. "Don't even think about snooping Kara!" Lena groaned. "I wouldn't dream of it." Kara replied with a smile. "Come on...let's go relax." Lena said. "Yes dear." Kara replied.

They returned downstairs and plopped down on the sofa. "Now what would you like to do?" Kara asked. "I was thinking we could have a house warming party...maybe next weekend." Lena suggested. "That sounds good. We can use some of that wine we brought back." Kara said. "Yea." Lena replied as she leaned into Kara's shoulder. "I kinda don't want to go back to work tomorrow." Lena admitted. "I know..but we have to..but you can always come to my office for lunch if you'd like." Kara said.

"That sounds nice." Lena replied. "There's something else bothering you...what is it?" Kara asked. "Just thinking...I've never really hosted Thanksgiving before." Lena said. "Me either. But I'm sure we can figure it out together." Kara replied with a smile. "You're right, we can figure it out together...you can cook...and I'll sip wine and watch." Lena replied. "I'll have Ruby help me." Kara replied. "Oh god she'll like that." Lena said.

They lay there until one of their phones began ringing. "It's Sam..." Lena groaned. "Answer it." Kara replied. "Hello Sam! What is it you want?" Lena greeted. "Are you free?" Sam asked. "Yes why?" Lena asked. "Good! We're here!" Sam said. "We?" Lena asked. "Yes! Ruby, Alex and myself! So come on and open the damn door!" Sam grumbled. "Coming! Jeeze relax!"  Lena groaned as she ended the call. "They're here?" Kara asked. "Yep!" Lena replied as she got up and walked to the door opening it to see the three of them standing there.

"Aunt Kara!" Ruby exclaimed. "Hey kid!" Kara greeted. "I'm here too Rubes!" Lena groaned. "I know Aunt Lena...but Aunt Kara helped me get an A+ in Biology...so I can go snowboarding during Christmas break!" Ruby replied. Lena rolled her eyes. "I see how it is...I've been passed over for snowboarding...just remember we went Christmas shopping for you today..." Lena said laughing. "So what brings you all by?" Kara asked. "We figured we'd come by to see what you were up to thats all." Alex said.

Kara looked at her older sister not believing her words. "You came here because I told you that I'd be testing out a new recipe...huh..." Kara replied. "How the heck do you do that?" Alex asked glaring at her sister. "I don't know...maybe I should be the one in the FBI and you should be the reporter. Or it could be because when I told you said 'oh really? Lobster macaroni and cheese sounds really good!' That's why..." Kara replied. "Fine...you caught me.." Alex replied. Kara smirked at her. "It'll be a little bit before I get started. So you may as well sit down and relax." Kara replied.
