Kara and Lena were wandering around the grocery store gathering things for their first ever thanksgiving dinner. "Ok let's start with the canned stuff and work our way through the store." Kara said. "Ok. What do we need in here? What can I make?" Lena asked. "Hmm you can help with everything if you want to. I'll be in the kitchen the whole time so you won't mess up." Kara replied. "Oh..and I thought you'd say 'nothing Lee darling, just let me and Ruby tend to it...she's my favorite person now..' but I was wrong." Lena groaned. "Lee darling, do you want to help me in the kitchen? We can have fun cooking together. And that way you won't be jealous of a thirteen year old." Kara replied. Lena rolled her eyes at her girlfriend. "I'll help with whatever you want me to. And I am not jealous of Ruby. Now come on let's go find ourselves the biggest turkey here." Lena said as she pushed the buggy along.

Kara walked beside her as they rounded a corner. "I'm gonna go get the cheese and a pepperoni, we'll need for pizza tonight." Kara said as she walked towards the deli area. "I'm gonna go look at the turkeys." Lena replied as she walked off. As Kara looked over the cheese she could feel someone walking up to her. "Hey...I saw you walking around with your friend...I think you're really cute..." The woman said. Kara turned to face her and raised an eyebrow. "Thanks...but if you'll excuse me I've got to get this stuff and return to my girl friend." Kara replied. "I know you have to get back to her...but I wanted to give you my number..maybe we can get together sometime.." The woman said. Kara chuckled to herself as she saw Lena approaching them with a very large turkey in their buggy. "Kar! I got us the biggest turkey! Do you think it'll feed everyone love?" Lena asked.

"I certainly hope so darling! I got the stuff for pizza tonight...so let's go finish up here." Kara replied as she took Lena's hand and walked off with her leaving a very confused woman behind her. "I over heard everything..." Lena whispered. "I know...she didn't get the hint." Kara replied as they tuned into the produce section.
