Alex, Sam and Ruby were next to arrive. "Hey guys!" Kara greeted. "Aunt Kara!" Ruby exclaimed happily as she ran to the blonde. "Hey kid! How are you doing?" Kara asked. "I'm good! I'm excited to sleep over!" Ruby replied. "I'm excited for that too! Come on I'll take you guys up to your rooms." Kara said. "Ok!" Sam said as they walked behind Kara. "Our room's here...mom's in that room...and you guys can pick any room here." Kara said. "Cool!" Ruby said as she quickly ran into a room. "Uh...Sam...would it be ok...if I talked to you and Ruby about something..real quick?" Kara asked. "Sure Kara...whats up?" Sam asked. "I'll wait till Ruby's in here too." Kara said.

"Ruby, can you come here for a moment?" Sam called. "What's up?" Ruby asked. "Kara has something to talk to us about." Sam said. "Ok...what is it?" Ruby asked. "What I'm about to say...has to be kept between us. Lena can never know what we discussed here." Kara said. "We won't tell her." Sam said. "Ok...I want to purpose to Lena...but before I do...I wanted to get your blessing to do so. You two are the closest thing she has to family..so..." "Of course you have our blessing!" Sam exclaimed as she and Ruby pulled Kara into a group hug! "Thank you!" Kara replied. "When are you gonna do it?" Ruby asked. "I'm thinking over Christmas." Kara said. "Nice!" Sam replied. "Thanks...we should get back down stairs though..before Lena comes up." Kara said.

Once everyone was back downstairs Kara joined Lena on the sofa while Ruby went to the other side to sit next to Eliza leaving Alex and Sam sitting on the loveseat. "So Cat's coming, Lena said?" Alex asked. "Yea. She doesn't have any place to go and Carter will be off with his dad...so we invited her here." Kara said. "Oh ok..." Alex replied. "Don't worry, she's not coming till Thanksgiving Day." Lena said.

Little did they know that...that the queen of media herself was planning on coming early the next morning to their house with a bag in toe to spend the entire thanksgiving week with them. Currently she was dropping Carter off at the airport so he could go visit his father. "And you have everything right?" Cat asked. "Yes mom!" Carter replied. "Ok! Call me when you land ok! Be good! I'll miss you!" Cat cooed. "I'll miss you too mom! Eh...have fun with your employee and her family." Carter replied. "I'm sure I will." Cat said as she hugged him again before he disappeared into the airport.
