"Kiera!" Miss Grant called from her office. Kara sighed as she walked towards the CEO's office. "Yes Miss Grant?" Kara asks. "I just wanted to congratulate you on your article on fashion week." She said before she turned to her scared looking assistant and began talking. "You! I need you to go out and buy me stuff for thanksgiving dinner! Make sure it's something easy...I don't enjoy cooking." Cat said. "Yes Miss Grant." Her assistant said before she scurried off to her desk. "Is there anything else Miss Grant?" Kara asked. Cat looked at the reporter before speaking. "Are you going away for the holiday?" Cat asked. "No, Lee and I are hosting." Kara said. "You cooking?" Cat asked. "Yes. I'll be doing most of the cooking." Kara replied. "Miss Grant...I can't find any of that salad mix you asked for." The assistant said bursting into her office. "Kiera you may go. And you! You can look harder for it!" Cat snapped.

Kara stifled a laugh as she returned to her office only to see Lena sitting there with lunch in her hands. "Lee! This is an incredible surprise!" Kara exclaimed happily. "Well I brought your favorites." Lena replied with a smile. Kara sat down and put her arm around Lena. "Where were you? I thought you were in the bathroom, but a woman came running by muttering something about salad mix..and I asked her if she saw you and she said that you were in with Cat. Is everything ok?" Lena asked as Kara unwrapped her burger. "Uh..she wanted to congratulate me on my fashion week article. Then she began asking about thanksgiving." Kara replied.

"Oh? What is she planning on doing that day?" Len asked. Kara shrugged as she ate her burger. "No idea...by the sounds of it not much since her assistant can't find what she wants." Kara said. Lena's brows knitted together. It was something she does when she's thinking hard on something. "Maybe we should invite her to our place for thanksgiving." Lena said. Kara's eyes shot open wide. "Really?" Kara asked. "Yea, I think it would be nice, no one should be alone on a holiday." Lena said. "I can ask...but I make no promises that she'll come." Kara said.

"Oh...that reminds me! Ruby's school is having a family and friend's lunch Thursday...and she's gonna ask you to come to it." Lena said. "Really? She doesn't want Sam, or Alex to go with her?" Kara asked shocked. "No, she specifically wants you to go." Lena said. "Well...uh..ok..I can take that afternoon off and go hang out with a bunch of teenagers." Kara replied with a smile. "Oh good! She'll be so excited!" Lena said.

They remained in Kara's office till Lena had to return to work. "Don't forget to ask Cat." Lena said. "I won't." Kara replied. "See you later." Lena said with a smirk. "See you later Lee." Kara replied before she pulled her in for a kiss.
