"Mom's on her way down today." Kara said as they got into the truck. "She is? Good thing we got the guest rooms ready." Lena replied. "Yea it is! I know Alex, Sam and Ruby already are planning on staying over too." Kara said. "Oh good! We can use up or leftovers that way." Lena said. "I was thinking the same ting." Kara said as they headed back to their house.

Upon arriving they saw Eliza's suv pulling in before them. "Mom's here!" Kara said happily. Lena just smiled. 'Should I ask for her permission this long weekend? Should I wait? How will I get her alone? Walk? Drive? Tour...? A tour! Yes! I'll personally give her a house tour and show her the ring I've picked out...yes! That's perfect!' Lena thought to herself as Kara parked the truck. Lena quickly got out and went to unlock the door so they could get the grocery's in and Eliza could get her bags inside too.

"Hey Lena! How are you doing?" Eliza asked as she sat her luggage down and hugged her. "I'm good..how are you Eliza?" Lena asked. "I'm hanging in there! I'm excited to celebrate Thanksgiving with all of you." Eliza said. "We're excited to host!" Kara said as she walked up behind them holding several bags of groceries in her hands. They quickly got out of the way letting her pass before they headed to the truck to get more.

After a couple mor trips everything was inside and being put away. "So who else is coming?" Eliza asked. "Cat..." Kara said. "Oh you invited your boss too?" Eliza asked. "Yea, she doesn't have anywhere else to go, and Carter her son is going to his dad's this year, so I thought I'd invite her here." Kara replied. "That's very nice of you Kara! I look forward to meeting her." Eliza replied. "Yea here, I'll take you to your room and give you house tour, while Kar finishes up here." Lena said. "Ok, sounds good to me Lena. Lead the way!" Eliza replied as she followed Lena back to where her bags sat.

"This is one living room...the others down in the basement. The door for that is right there, we're currently just leaving it as is..till we figure out what to do with it." Lena said. They began walking upstairs and Eliza was completing on how beautiful the house is and how wonderful it would be to fill it with grandchildren one day. "That's our room, you can pick which ever room you like...Alex, Sam and Ruby are staying too so rooms don't matter." Lena said.

Eliza looked at the dark haired woman assessing the situation and the weird way lean was acting around her. "Lena..honey is there something you want to talk to me about?" Eliza asked. "Huh?" Lena asked. "Is there something you want to ask me about?" Eliza asked again. "Uh...yea...uh..it can wait till you're settled though." Lena stammered. "Ok..give me a few minutes and I'll come find you." Eliza replied. "Ok..." Lena replied with a small smile.

Lena went to her and Kara's room and pulled the ring box out and looked at it before closing it and pocketing it before walking  back out into the hallway. She was about to head downstairs again when Eliza waved for her. Lena closed her eyes and took in a slow breath before walking into Eliza's room. See didn't even realize she was pacing the floor till Eliza reached out and touched her arm. "What is it you want to talk about? Would it have anything to do with that square in your pocket?" Eliza asked. "Uh....yes...." Lena whispered. "Let me see it!" Eliza said. Lena pulled it out of her pocket and passed it to Eliza.

"This is nice! When do you plan to do it?" Eliza asked. "If I get yours and Alex's blessing...I'm thinking when we all go to Midvale for Christmas...I'm thinking one of the days we go snowboarding or something." Lena said. Eliza smiled at the young woman. "Well sweetheart, you have my blessing!" Eliza said as she pulled Lena into a hug.
