The Palm of my Hand

Gary grabbed Wisty's hand. " We have to get out of here."

Wisty yanked it out. " No, you five need to go. I can handle this."

" Bu-" 

" GO!"

Gary looked at Horace and Goh and Quillon and Danika for help.

" Wisty, Gary's right." Danika said gently. " We have to-"

Wisty turned, and Gary gulped. 

She had that fire in her eye which Ash also had from time to time.

She wasn't going anywhere.

Gary sighed and turned. " She's right."

Goh blinked. " Bu-"

Gary cut him off. " See that fire in her eyes? Ash also has that. She's not going anywhere."

Horace took a deep breath to say something, but nothing came out.

Wisty threw her Pokeballs on the ground hard. ( Like Ash does in the intro of this season.)

" Sprigatito, Amura, Deerling, Girafarig, Altaria, let's go!"

" Eevee!" Eevee hopped down from her owner's shoulder.

Wisty nodded. " Let's go. Take your places!"

She turned back. " Go."

Quillon blinked. " Are you sure?"

Wisty nodded. " Gary, take them."

Then she turned and dodged a lightning bolt Mew shot. " Eevee, Jolteon, let's go!"

The Pokemon jumped as an Eevee, and landed as a Jolteon. She shot Mew lightning, which Mew countered with Rock Smash.

Wisty's eyes widened. " JOLTEON, VAPORION!"

The other five, who were hiding in a cave, watched with wide eyes. Gary sucked his teeth. " This is bad...."

Wisty sighed and looked at the few Pokeballs on her belt. " I hope Ash doesn't mind...."

Goh's eyes widened. " She STOLE from Ash?!"

Gary shrugged. " That's normal day to day life with Wisty. Then again, Ash gives her the ones he doesn't use that often because he knows Wisty'll use them."

She dropped a Pokeball and bounced it a few times, then launched it in the air, jumped, and kicked. " Totodile, I choose you!"

Goh gasped. " She just did Ember!"

Horace peeked from behind Danika. " So..... is she winning?"

The two boys turned to him and gave him a, ' really?' face before turning back.

Quillon, who was sitting in the far side of the cave, crossed his arms and sighed. " She's gonna get herself killed. She's up against a Legendary Pokemon by herself!"

Gary shook her head. " She might surprise you. She always does."

" TOTODILE, USE WATE- CHANGE OF PLANS RUN YOU GUYS RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!"

Horace winced. " That doesn't sound good."

" Because it's not." Goh replied. " Mew's set everything ablaze."

" What?!" Horace ran from his hiding spot and peeked out. " Oh no."

Wisty and her Pokemon had climbed to a cliff and surveyed the damage. 

" Okay. Vaporion, Totodile, use water gun! Deerling, solar beam! Girafarig, confusion! Altaria, wind gust, let's go! Amura, let's go with Hyper Beam! Alright, everyone, now!"
