I jolt awake to constant beeping, quickly sitting up in a panic triggered by the loud noise. My eyes dart rapidly, looking around the dark room. Am I alone? I breath heavily about to jump out of bed, not realizing Officer Wentin is seated in a chair nearby. "Asteryian..." Officer Wentin says.

These metal bars are closing in, I feel like a caged animal. Nowhere to go, the darkness creeps from every corner. Then, Officer Wentin just vanishes. The flashbacks look so real, I feel something gushing down my leg. Once I look down, I see the blood making way pass my inner thigh. "Asteryian" I hear a voice call out. I stare into space, blinking twice being taken back to reality. Again, I glance at my surroundings.

The stress I organially felt, decreases when realizing where I am. In the hospital, safe and sound. "Astery, you okay?" A familiar voice echoes to the back of my mind. I finally look directly at Officer Wentin with a puzzling facial expression, I say nothing while he lays me back down in the bed.
I glance at my legs, which are wrapped in cooling pads, but there is no blood to be seen. "It's okay...." Officer Wentin says, pulling these blankets up to my shoulders.

"Don't..." I scream, flinching at the slight contact he makes. My body moves far from him, ending up at the bottom of the bed. Visibly shaken. However, no matter what, Officer Wentin makes every attempt to gain my trust.
"Nobody is here to hurt you..." Officer Wentin explains, slowly holding his hand out in front of me. I stare at his hand for a few seconds, then finally look up at him.

"Can you tell me where you got that?" Officer Wentin asks, pointing at the big red ligature mark on my neck.

I hold my knees to my chest but say nothing. "Can you tell me what happened to you, buddy?" Officer Wentin then asks.

"No..." I say with an unsteady voice.

"Why not?" Officer Wentin asks

"Y-you won't understand," I mumble, turning my back toward him.

"Then help me understand"

Tears stream down my face, I wipe them away with the palm of my hand. Then, turn my body around so I'm facing him. "I....I had sex, but I didn't want to" I say.

Officer Wentin pulls out his notepad and pen, he flips to a clear page and starts writing. I shrug, "I tried to scream.....but, I couldn't-" I explain "He had the belt around my neck, too tight"

I sniffle, the tears continue to flow "I wouldn't call it...rape, I mean-" I mention, "I-I didn't say no".
Officer Wentin stares at me but says nothing. "Well....couldn't say no" I add, just sarcastically laughing.

"Did you want him to do that to you?" Officer Wentin asks, not writing anymore. He looks me dead in my eyes, however I just stare at the wall to my left. "Asteryian" He calls out.

Finally, I peep at him. "Did you consent?" Officer Wentin asks.

The question seems unreal, because nobody asks that when it comes to boys being victims of sexual violence. "No...." I whine.

"Then look at me" Officer Wentin says and I do, this time we're looking at each other. "That's rape..."

I say nothing else, not wanting to traumatized myself anymore than I already am. Just talking about it, brings shivers down my spin. Even though Drew Daughtler is dead, I can still feel his hands on me."Where is he now?" Officer Wentin asks.
"Who? Drew?" I ask, giving him a side-eye.
"Yeah..." He says.

"He's dead..." I tell nonchalantly.
